Good News! Facebook Live Shooting Victim Devyn Holmes Is Talking, Family Says

It’s been nearly a month since Devyn Holmes was shot in the head by a woman playing with a loaded gun during a live stream on Facebook, and his family says he recently spoke his first words since the incident.

KTRK reports that the family of Devyn Holmes said that he whispered the word “alright” in response to someone telling him something.

More via KTRK:

The incident happened while Devyn was inside a vehicle with a woman and another man outside a Valero gas station on Almeda and Southmore in southwest Houston on Easter Sunday.

The woman, identified as Cassandra Damper, allegedly fired the shot. Damper has been charged with aggravated assault with reckless serious bodily injury. Devyn was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Since the shooting, Devyn’s family has provided updates on his progress on a Facebook page and through a GoFundMe account that has raised nearly $40,000.

“The family strongly believes that the prayers and support they have received from all over the nation and the world are fueling Devyn’s remarkable recovery,” family attorney Shanna Hennigan said in a statement.

“The whole world. When I say the whole world, I’ve been getting prayers from everywhere. The whole world is praying for him and I really appreciate that,” said Sheree Holmes, Devyn’s mother.

Along with following Devyn’s recovery online and leaving well wishes, others may want to show support in other ways.

You can buy a bracelet on the Do It For Devyn Facebook page. The bands are $5.

The week after the shooting, Holmes’ family said he had opened his eyes and his condition was improving, so the fact that he is now talking is a huge step in his overall recovery.

Holmes reportedly remains in stable condition at Ben Taub Hospital, and our thoughts and prayers are with him as he recovers.

Lil Lonnie Dead: Fast Facts About Mississippi Rapper Killed in Drive-By Shooting

A Mississippi rapper is dead after being involved in a drive-by shooting Sunday night (Apr. 29), police said.

Jackson police Sgt. Roderick Holmes says 22-year-old Jackson native Lonnie Taylor, also known by his rap name “Lil Lonnie,” died after someone shot into the vehicle he was driving and it hit the front of a house.

Here’s what you need to know about Lil Lonnie and the fatal drive-by shooting.

1Lonnie “Lil Lonnie” Taylor was murdered hours after posting a photo on social media.

Just hours after uploading a photo of himself on Instagram and Snapchat, Lonnie “Lil Lonnie” Taylor was dead Sunday night (Apr. 29) in his hometown of Jackson, Mississippi.

According to reports, the aspiring rapper was shot multiple times as he drove his SUV. His car stopped after it crashed into a home.

Another person in the vehicle, a female passenger, was not injured. Jackson police said no suspects had been identified and they weren’t aware of a motive either.

2Lil Lonnie spoke in an interview about meeting with 50 Cent and Jack thriller and talked about the advice they gave him.

In 2015, Lil Lonnie released a song called “Colors,” which put him on the map nationally. In a December 2015 interview with This Is 50, the rapper talked about the day he appeared in what the interviewer called a “big mega sit-down with two legends of the business.”

Lil Lonnie said he has spoken to Jack Thriller and 50 Cent, and he said he followed the advice they gave him that pushed his career forward. “Careerwise everything has been going, so I took that advice and I ran with it,” he said. “Keep the ground consistent, keep moving around, make my face a presence everywhere.”

Asked who he was working with to get money to put a billboard up in Jackson, Taylor responded that he hadn’t signed with anyone. Shocked, the interviewer candidly asked him, “What are you doing, selling drugs or some sh*t?” Taylor responded, “I don’t do none of that.” He later said, “I’ve got morals that I stand by” when asked whether he could relate to some of the things going on these days among people his age.

3Lil Lonnie said in an interview he wanted to use his first “mega check” to buy a house for his family.

In that same December 2015 interview with This is 50, Lil Lonnie discussed his big plans for the money he planned to make as an up-and-coming artist.

“Let’s say you get a mega check, what would you purchase with that first mega check?” the interviewer asked him. “I’d buy a house,” Taylor said. “I’d buy a house for my family.”

Lil Lonnie said he wasn’t interested in the game on the streets. He said he was taking care of his father, his mother had died when he was young, and he was helping out his four siblings financially, which was made possible by his music.

Taylor was asked in a 2016 interview with DJ Smallz what there was to do in Jackson. “There’s nothing… nothing to do. Nothing but a whole bunch of robbing,” Taylor replied. “Everybody’s just, I mean that’s all it is, just robbing and killing and all this, that’s all that’s going on.”

Taylor said his biggest musical influence was Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie. He said had gotten similar advice from him that he had gotten from 50 Cent, and that was to stay consistent with his music.

“I want to be the next icon people look up to. I want to motivate others around from where I’m from because not too many get the recognition I do, and I just want to bring that impact to where I’m from and help people out,” he said. “I’m willing to open the door to everybody.”

His advice to other aspiring musicians was to “keep running” and “chase your dreams.”

Before his death, Lil Lonnie collaborated with a number of big-name Hip Hop artists, like K Camp and Moneybagg Yo.

He also released a song with R&B singer/songwriter Bryson Tiller called “Change Up.”

Most of his music videos on YouTube have millions of views and some were even promoted via WorldStarHipHop.

4Lil Lonnie’s friends, followers and fans mourned his death on social media.

Friends of Lil Lonnie mourned the slain rapper on social media as his followers and fans all over the country grieved with them.

“(Taylor) was always 100% since them callaway days! The whole city hurt behind this one,” Instagram user DukeSuave1 posted.

“sh*t is so crazy…. I just waited on lil Lonnie tonight @ the restaurant & now he’s dead…” Twitter user McKenna Albritton shared.

“RIP big bro,” Instagram user dionn2o4 wrote. “can’t believe they took u like that g.”

“Lil Lonnie can’t be dead bro I was just bumping yo sh*t the other day You has [sic] your city on lock and was making waves in mine ! I’ll never forget bumping ya mixtapes all throughout high school RIP Lil Lonnie,” posted Twitter user and fellow rapper Kash.

5Lil Lonnie’s shooting death was amid three separate shooting incidents in Jackson.

Lil Lonnie was reportedly one of two people killed and two people injured following three separate shooting incidents in Jackson. Early Monday morning (Apr. 30), a mother was shot to death and her adult daughter was wounded during a burglary of their home in West Jackson. Jackson Police Sgt. Roderick Holmes said a suspect hadn’t immediately been identified.

According to news reports, 57-year-old named Evvie Williams was shot during the home invasion and ran to a neighbor’s house, where she died. Her 24-year-old daughter, Jaalyn Williams, was reportedly shot in the face. She was hospitalized and her condition was described as stable. Sgt. Holmes said the door of their home had been forced open, and they are still investigating the shooting.

VIDEO: Ex-NFL Player Desmond Marrow Choked & Slammed to the Ground by Police During Arrest

Video footage showing former college and pro football player Desmond Marrow being slammed to the ground onto his face in a parking lot while being arrested by Georgia police officers has gone viral on social media.

Marrow, who played for the University of Toledo and was briefly in the NFL shared the video on Instagram and Facebook Thursday afternoon (Apr. 26), saying that he was injured during the incident in Henry County, Georgia. He said that he “only had [his] cell phone in [his] possession” and the police “claimed to be scared for their lives.” He added, “I had no type of weapon in my possession, I was arrested for having a gun that turned out to be my cell phone.”

According to court documents, the arrest took place in McDonough, Georgia (a city in Henry county part of Atlanta metro) on December 2, 2017 in the parking lot of a Target store on Jonesboro Road. Records show that Marrow, 30, was charged with making terroristic threats, reckless driving, aggressive driving, and obstruction. The court documents state that police were investigating an alleged road rage incident involving Marrow when the arrest occurred. Dispatchers had told police that there was a “physical altercation,” though police don’t provide any evidence that a “physical altercation” ever occurred.

The minute-long video clip, recorded by a bystander, shows two officers holding Marrow by the arms while he is being handcuffed. You can see him walking towards the back of a pickup truck and officers push him against it. “I’m not even fighting back!” Marrow yells as one of the cops lifts his leg up and slams him to the ground onto his face. Marrow can then be heard shouting, “I didn’t even do nothing to y’all!” as the three officers kneel over him and the cameraman says, “This is unbelievable.”

As one officer puts his hands near Marrow’s neck, he yells repeatedly, “I can’t breathe!” while another officer tells him to calm down before the officer holding his neck takes his hand away. The officers then lift Marrow up to his feet just as the video ends. The footage doesn’t show what caused the police to act so aggressively.

Officer David Rose wrote in his report that when he arrived at the Target parking lot, he asked Marrow who had been fighting and if he had swung at anyone. Marrow denied that there had been an altercation and also denied that there had been a fight, Rose wrote. Officer Rose said Marrow “was clearly agitated and was speaking very loudly and using profanity. He loudly used the word ‘fuck’ several times and I had to tell him to stop.”

Rose said Marrow responded by saying the officer “had no right to tell him what to say.” Rose wrote that he told Marrow “using profanity in that manner would not be tolerated.” Rose said at that point, a witness informed him that he had heard Marrow threaten to shoot another person during a dispute. Rose asked Marrow if he possessed any weapons, and Marrow told him he did not. According to the report, Rose searched Marrow and did not find any weapons.

Marrow then reportedly told the officer he was driving on I-75 when a white male passenger in a dark-colored sedan threw a cup of coffee at his car. Marrow said he chased after the car because he wanted to talk to them about what they had done. Rose then told Marrow that he had seen him driving aggressively as he turned onto Jonesboro Rd. and Marrow said “that’s a fact,” Rose said, adding that Marrow told him he was wrong for chasing the car and admitted that he shouldn’t have done that.

The witness told Officer Rose that he had seen a vehicle, which Rose believed was Marrow’s, block in a dark sedan on Jonesboro Rd. The witness told Rose he saw Marrow get out and throw something at the dark sedan and the sedan drove over a curb to get away. He said the truck, allegedly driven by Marrow, then chased the sedan into Target’s parking lot.

After speaking to the witness and other officers, Rose said he made the decision to arrest Marrow. Rose described what he says happened next in his report:

I told Marrow that he was under arrest and told him to put his hands behind his back. He refused. At that point I pointed my taser at Marrow. I told him that he would be tased if he continued. Officer (Matthew) Donaldson and I then managed to get cuffs on him without me having to tase him. My taser was then put back into its holster. We attempted to search Marrow incident to his arrest. He was instructed to spread his feet apart to enable us to safely search him. He refused to spread his feet and he refused to comply with our verbal commands to do so. Officer Donaldson attempted to spread his feet and Marrow attempted to kick him. Marrow was also attempting to push himself away from the car he was standing beside. Marrow then kicked me with his left foot against my left.

Because he was struggling we attempted to put Marrow on the ground. He fought against this. He was attempting to turn away from my grip on him and was attempting to strike me with his left elbow. After several seconds of struggling he was put on the ground. Even so, he was still not complying with instructions to lay on the ground on his chest. I had to hold him on the ground as we repositioned ourselves. I had my left hand on the side of his shoulder but was still not able to keep him down. I told Marrow several times to stay on the ground and stop kicking. I was attempting to keep him from kicking Officer Donaldson or head-butting me as it appeared to me that he was attempting to do that.

Rose wrote that he then put his hand on the side of Marrow’s head and neck “in an effort to better keep him on the ground.” Rose said he instructed Marrow to lay on his chest, but he says Marrow was “still struggling” and “rolled over onto his back.” Rose said, “At that point my hand was on the front of his neck, still in an effort to hold him down to prevent him from head-butting me. Marrow shouted several times that he was not able to breathe, but he was shouting, he was clearly breathing.”

Rose said Marrow “closed his eyes for a second or so as if he was passed out.” Rose said he then held Marrow down for a few more seconds before pulling him up and taking him to his patrol car. Marrow “resisted getting into my car,” Rose said, but he was eventually able to get him inside. Rose said Marrow complained of a head injury and medics were called, however, Marrow refused treatment. Rose said when Marrow was in the patrol car, he “laid his head against the door frame and closed his eyes as if he was passed out for a second or two.”

Rose wrote in his report that when Marrow got to the jail, he told them he had a head injury and spoke to the jail nurse about his “sideline injury.” He also said his left knee and left shoulder were injured and jail staff refused to book him, Rose wrote. Marrow was then taken to Piedmont Henry Hospital, where he was treated and released by hospital staff, Rose said in his report. Rose said that Marrow received a CT scan and, at one point, “fell out of the wheelchair he was placed in by hospital staff.”

Marrow shared photos of his injuries, which you can view below:

Marrow, a defensive back, played football for the University of Toledo between 2006 and 2011 and graduated with a communication degree, according to the school’s website. He was placed on the pre-season rosters for the Houston Texans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he never made the regular season roster nor did he appear in an NFL game. Marrow was also briefly signed by the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL), but didn’t play a game for them either. Following the end of his football career, Marrow became a fitness instructor and opened a gym in Youngstown, Ohio.

As a result of the incident, Marrow started a GoFundMe campaign he titled “Justice for Des Marrow,” which has so far raised $5,200 of his $15,000 goal. He wrote on the fundraiser site: “I am raising money to help pay for my doctors bills and expenses and to help rebuild a facility to train the hundreds of kids I have lost becuase [sic] of this traumatic event.”

The video showing Marrow’s arrest has attracted the attention of activists on social media. Shaun King shared the video on Twitter, writing, “He was cooperating. They then slammed him to the ground, knocked out his teeth, and began choking him until he passes out. This is former NFL player and personal trainer Desmond Marrow.”

Qasim Rashid wrote on Twitter: “This is police work? Or how slave catchers would beat down the enslaved? As he begs for mercy, Cops handcuff him, slam him to the car, then the ground, knock out his teeth, choke him—THEN ask ‘you ok?’ Former NFL player Desmond Marrow #BlackLivesMatter”

Maejor Page, President of Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta, released a statement, saying, “I am utterly disgusted in how HCPD handled this black man, this player did nothing that warranted him slammed, being man-handled and chocked out, especially while handcuffed. But this is why Colin Kaepernick first took a knee, and now to have a player saying this happened to her. We want the NFL to publicly speak out and denounce police brutality. BLMGA will aggressively and zealously defend our victim.”

Eric Prologo, a family member of Marrow’s, wrote on Twitter: “Yo that’s my cousin his name is Desmond Marrow thank you for spreading the word this is crazy he worked real hard to get his own business going as a personal trainer and lost it all because of this bullshit they said his phone was a gun so now he has felony charges on him.”

One of Marrow’s former professors, John Eidemiller, who works at the University of Toledo, tweeted, “Des was one of my students at UT. Good guy. Was always very easy to get along with. I don’t know the circumstances of this incident, but it doesn’t seem like him. My heart goes out to him.”

Dee Drummond, Another professor at UT, wrote in response to Eidemiller’s tweet, “I agree John- remember Desmond well. This video is horrific to watch- I can’t imagine it took that type of physical behavior to detain one person- sickening.”

Bill Cosby Found Guilty of Sexual Assault, Could Spend the Rest of His Life in Prison

Bill Cosby has been found guilty of all charges in his sexual assault retrial, NBC News reports.

According to NBC News, Cosby—who has faced dozens of sexual misconduct allegations spanning decades—was found guilty of three felony counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and molesting a woman named Andrea Constand nearly 14 years ago.

The case against Cosby was centered around testimony from Constand, a former employee with Temple University women’s basketball team. In her testimony, she said that Cosby, a trustee at Temple, drugged and sexually assaulted her during a 2004 visit to his Philadelphia home to ask for career advice.

Cosby’s defense team argued that his interaction with Constand was consensual and accused her of being a con artist who simply wanted a piece of Cosby’s fortune.

Cosby’s conviction came nearly one year after a mistrial was declared in his first trial when a jury failed to reach a verdict in the case.

During the retrial, the jury of seven men and five women also heard testimony from a number of other women, including actress Janice Dickinson.

Cosby faces up to 10 years in prison for each guilty count and 30 years total, which means the ailing 80-year-old could spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Cosby is out on $1 million bond until his sentencing.

Meek Mill Officially Released From Prison After Supreme Court Hearing

Meek Mill is officially a free man!

According to a number of reports, Meek Mill has been released from prison following a Supreme Court hearing. The news was first announced by Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, who has been working closely with the rapper since he was first jailed back in November 2017.

From TMZ:

The Supreme Court of PA made the decision, overruling Judge Genece Brinkley. Judge Brinkley was severely criticized for what some say was a grudge against Meek and keeping him in prison, despite prosecutors asking that his conviction be overturned because of a dirty cop.

Judge Brinkley denied Meek bail last week after prosecutors asked her to toss the conviction, denied his bail request and set a hearing for 60 days. Many found that outrageous, and that apparently includes justices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

The justices released Meek with no bail, pending a hearing in about 60 days to possibly dismiss the conviction. One remarkable thing, which is a clear diss to Judge Brinkley … the justices refused to boot Judge Brinkley from the case, but said she “may opt to remove herself from presiding over this matter.”

Meek tells TMZ … “I’d like to thank God, my family, my friends, my attorneys, my team at Roc Nation including JAY-Z, Desiree Perez, my good friend Michael Rubin, my fans, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time.”

“While the past five months have been a nightmare, the prayers, visits, calls, letters and rallies have helped me stay positive.”

Meek adds, “To the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, I’m grateful for your commitment to justice – not only for my case, but for others that have been wrongfully jailed due to police misconduct. Although I’m blessed to have the resources to fight this unjust situation, I understand that many people of color across the country don’t have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues. In the meantime, I plan to work closely with my legal team to overturn this unwarranted conviction and look forward to reuniting with my family and resuming my music career.”

Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says, “Meek was unjustly convicted and should not have spent a single day in jail. Meek is excited to be reunited with his family, and we, along with Meek, intend to continue to shine the light on a justice system in need of reform to prevent any other citizen from being put through what Meek has endured.”

“Austin Powers” Star Verne Troyer Dead at 49

Verne Troyer, a popular actor best known for playing Mini-Mi in the “Austin Powers” movies, has died at the age of 49.

The actor, who was considered one of the shortest men in the world, passed away Saturday (Apr. 21), according to a statement from his family obtained by TMZ. According ot the site, Troyer had been on life support since being rushed to the hospital about two weeks ago after police received a report that he was upset, drunk and suicidal, and was treated for alcohol poisoning.

His cause of death hasn’t officially been released, but it was likely due to alcohol poisoning, as Verne has struggled with alcoholism for years and had been to rehab several times.

Troyer was born with a genetic disorder called achondroplasia dwarfism. Despite being different, Troyer said he was never treated differently by his family growing up on a farm in Michigan. He said in an interview that his parents “never treated me any different than my other average-sized siblings. I used to have to carry wood, feed the cows and pigs and farm animals.”

He began his career in Hollywood in 1994 in the film “Baby’s Day Out” as a stunt double for Baby Bink. Troyer then landed a few bit roles in movies like “Men in Black” and “Fear the Loathing in Las Vegas” before scoring the biggest role of his career—Dr. Evil’s hilarious sidekick Mini-Me in 1999’s “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me” and its 2002 follow-up “Austin Powers in Goldmember.”

Troyer continued to land small roles in other comedies and movies, like his brief appearance in as Griphook the goblin in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” He’s also done a few reality shows over the years, appearing in shows like “Celebrity Juice,” “The Surreal Life,” “Celebrity Big Brother,” and “Celebrity Wife Swap.”

Troyer leaves behind his girlfriend, former Playboy Bunny Brittney Powell.

Beyoncé’s Second Coachella Performance Will Feature a Few Surprises, But Will NOT Be Streamed Online via YouTube

We have some sad news for the BeyHive. Beyoncé’s second Coachella performance (aka #BeychellaPart2) will NOT be streamed online for free via YouTube.

Every year, Coachella headliners perform over the span of two weekends, and while the first weekend was live streamed online via YouTube, the second weekend won’t be.

A source spilled a little tea to Gossip On This, telling us about some possible changes to her set (including costume changes). The source also confirmed that Destiny’s Child will also perform this weekend, just like last weekend.

“This Saturday, Beyoncé is performing the same set, including Destiny’s Child, but will feature new outfits,” our source said. “She was rehearsing new songs (trap sound with Indian influence allegedly) which were considered for the first show but were scrapped so maybe she’ll bring them out this weekend to switch it up… But it’s not getting streamed.”

One of Beyoncé’s dancers also spoke to Variety and said that there will be a few surprises in store for weekend two. “Yeah, we’re switching up a couple things, so there could still be a wow factor,” Jo’Artis Mijo Ratti said.

Beyoncé’s first HBCU-inspired Coachella set broke the internet and also broke YouTube’s live stream record, with nearly 500,000 fans watching at its peak. Queen Bey also made history as the first black woman to headline the festival. “Ain’t that ’bout a bitch?” she said during her set.

This year was Coachella’s biggest yet, with more than 43.1 million live stream views in 232 countries the first weekend alone, making it the most-viewed live music festival ever on YouTube. That number represents a 75% increase over last year when Lady Gaga stepped in to replace Beyoncé after she announced her pregnancy.

While this weekend’s performance won’t be streamed on YouTube, the BeyHive is keeping hope alive that maybe we can watch it via TIDAL.

Khloe Kardashian Gave Birth to a Baby Girl, and Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Ass Was in the Delivery Room

It’s a girl! Days after Tristan Thompson was caught cheating with another woman, Khloe Kardashian has given birth to the couple’s daughter.

According to confirmed reports, Khloe gave birth to her first child, a baby girl, Thursday morning (Apr. 12). And TMZ is reporting that, yes, Tristan’s cheating ass was in the room when Khloe gave birth.

Khloe delivered a baby girl early Thursday morning — around 4 AM EDT — at a hospital outside Cleveland … according to our Kardashian sources. We’re told the little girl does not have a name yet. Kourtney, Kim, Kris and Khloe’s BFF Malika were by her side during the birth. Tristan Thompson was also there.

The news comes not too long after photos and video footage leaked showing Tristan Thompson cheating on Khloe Kardashian with another woman. The footage was reportedly recorded back in October when Khloe was only three months pregnant.

A source tells People that Tristan has been cheating on Khloe for a while, and the scandalous reports have “been a long time coming.”

The Cleveland Cavaliers player was spotted canoodling with an unidentified woman last Saturday (Apr. 7) at a club in New York City in video footage and photos obtained by the Daily Mail. TMZ and The Shade Room also published a video of Thompson and a woman allegedly entering his hotel around 5 a.m. All of this is in ADDITION to the footage from October 2017.

“Tristan has been consistently cheating on Khloe,” an insider told People. “He’s a serial cheater. And there will be more women to come out of the woodwork.” The source added, “First Lamar cheated on her and now Tristan. She’s been through so much.”

Khloe and Tristan’s daughter is the third “Kardashian-Jenner” baby girl to be born this year. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian welcomed their third child via surrogate, daughter Chicago, on January 15th, while Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s first child, daughter Stormi, made her arrival on February 1st.

Black Mother Slams Elementary School for Acknowledging White Privilege, Receives Support from Rush Limbaugh & Conservative Pundits

A Raleigh, North Carolina mother is gaining local and national attention after criticizing her son’s elementary school for sending home a handout that explains white privilege to parents. The mother’s outrage has conservative pundits like Rush Limbaugh rallying behind her.

Amber Pabon—of black and Hispanic ancestry—was shocked and upset when her 8-year-old son came home with a two-sided handout titled “Step 3: Begin to Understand the Concept of White Privilege” that was provided by his school, Hunter Magnet Elementary.

“He’s only eight years old. What does he need to know about racism or white privilege?” Pabon told a local news station.

“He’s more worried about making friends and just getting along with each other. He’s going to school just to learn. He’s not going to learn about race; he’s not going to school to learn about religion.”

The handout listed the percentage of white people in leadership roles in government, military, media, and even the classroom. It also listed other examples of white privilege in society and offered basic information about the topic.

It’s part of an 11-step program about race led by Hunter Elementary’s PTA Advocacy team to “generate awareness and empathy to create a safe and equitable Hunter Comunity.” Handouts are sent out weekly, emailed to parents, and also posted on the PTA’s Facebook page.

Hunter Elementary’s student demographics are 40% white, 36% black, 10% Asian, and 9% Hispanic.

The initiative began during Black History Month, but Pabon says she only received the “Step 3” document. The handouts are only intended for parents and are not part of the classroom curriculum. The school’s PTA says the initiative has received only positive feedback from parents—that is, until Pabon’s public complaint.

Pabon feels her son is too young understand the concept of white privilege and has opted out of the 11-step program.

“He’s not looking at the color of your skin, he’s not looking at your hair, eye color, what you’re wearing. He wants to play with you because that’s what children do.”

When Pabon first took her concerns to media outlets, I’m sure she didn’t expect support from the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Fox News—you know, people who flat-out deny white privilege even exists. But that’s exactly what happened.

Limbaugh and other conservative pundits argue Hunter Elementary School (and other schools) have a liberal agenda and are trying to politically indoctrinate children.

“The leftists in the school are trying to slough this stuff off,” Limbaugh said on his radio show last week.

“But now 8-year-olds, second graders in North Carolina [are being exposed to this]. And I’m sure this is not the only place this is happening. And this is Raleigh, North Carolina, not long ago considered a Red State.”

Conservative radio host Todd Starnes wrote on his website:

“The white privilege propaganda being distributed at Hunter Magnet Elementary School is disgusting. To shame children and their parents based on the color of their skin is simply unthinkable in this day and age.”

Pabon was even featured in a segment on Fox & Friends. “Mother Outraged Over White Privilege Paper” read the show’s chyron.

If Rush Limbaugh and Fox News are agreeing with you on anything relating to race issues, you might want to rethink your position. Again, Amber Pabon is black and Hispanic!

Hunter Magnet Elementary school’s PTA says it intends to continue the 11-step initiative on race. Future handouts will focus on the criminal justice, racism, and ways to fight against it.

RHONY Star Luann De Lesseps Says Russell Simmons “Grabbed [Her] Ass in an Elevator”

Another woman has accused Russell Simmons of sexually harassing her, raising his current tally to at least 13 different women.

“Real Housewives of New York” star Luann de Lesseps claimed in an interview that the music mogul grabbed her butt in an elevator.

“He grabbed my ass in an elevator, he was just a pig,” the 52-year-old told The Daily Beast. “I haven’t told anybody about that before. I was grossed out. I was like ‘How dare you?’ He invaded me, he took advantage of me, being who he is, thinking he is all ‘it,’ all everything. He thought he could just do that. I looked at him and said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.'”

De Lesseps said the incident happened at the Soho House Miami three years ago and she never reported it and Simmons never apologized. Her allegation comes amid multiple sexual misconduct accusations from several women, however, Simmons denies any wrongdoing and has maintained his innocence, saying that the allegations have left him “devastated.”

“They have shocked me to my core as I have never been abusive or violent in any way in my relations with women. I am blessed to have shared extraordinary relationships, whether through work or love, with many great women, and I have enormous respect for the women’s movement worldwide and their struggle for respect, dignity, equality and power,” Simmons said in a statement. “I am devastated by any reason I may have given to anyone to say or think of me in the ways that are currently being described.”

Simmons’ camp has yet to respond to the latest allegation.

Kenya Moore Confirms She’s Pregnant With Her First Child on “RHOA” Reunion, Says She’s NOT Using a Surrogate

Two major pregnancy reveals in two days! Just one day after Cardi B finally unveiled her baby bump on SNL, Kenya Moore announced she is also expecting her first child.

Within three minutes of part one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 10 reunion, Kenya, 47, made the happy announcement for the first time, shocking host Andy Cohen and her RHOA co-stars.

“We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year. Oh my God, I said that! I don’t want to talk about the details because I’m still very nervous about everything so I want to get past a safe place.”

“I want a healthy baby,” Kenya told Cohen, not wanting to reveal whether she’s having a boy or a girl. She also assured her co-stars that she wouldn’t joke about having a baby.

Kenya later thanked the ladies for their support on Twitter and also responded to speculation that she’s hired a surrogate since she never explicitly stated that she was pregnant.

Rumors of Kenya’s pregnancy have been rampant in recent months, especially following Love B. Scott’s exclusive report shortly after the reunion’s taping.

Kenya announced her pregnancy 10 months after secretly marrying restaurateur Marc Daly in Saint Lucia. Fans know her longtime desire in starting a family and the couple was spotted at a renowned IVF clinic in Barbados last year.

The baby news may have also saved Kenya her RHOA peach. Due to Kenya’s refusal to cooperate with producers and Daly’s reluctance to appear on the show (until the finale), it was heavily speculated producers would give her the pink slip at the conclusion of season 10.

However, sources now say Kenya’s pregnancy and overall reunion show performance may be enough to keep her (and Daly) around… for now.

WATCH: Cardi B Confirms Pregnancy, Shows Off Baby Bump During “SNL” Performance

Cardi B’s big not-so-secret has FINALLY been revealed. The rapstress confirmed her pregnancy and showed off her baby bump during her big appearance on SNL last night!

Fresh off the release of her debut album Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B made her Saturday Night Live debut this weekend by performing all of her singles from the project.

After an introduction from “Black Panther” star and SNL host Chadwick Boseman, the femcee—wearing a big poofy dress that covered her belly—kicked things off with a short rendition of her first hit “Bodak Yellow” (including a little bit of the Spanish version) before quickly transitioning into her now-platinum second single “Bartier Cardi.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMnFDvo113A&t=9s

Cardi’s second set was her third single “Be Careful.” At the beginning of the performance, the camera was zoomed in on Cardi, then as the camera panned out to show her full body, you could hear the crowd cheering as you could obviously see her growing baby bump in her tight white dress.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7f2YSz-y_8

A TMZ report revealed Cardi’s pregnancy last month, and the former Love & Hip Hop star has remained mum on the subject for a minute, but it looks like the cat is finally out of the bag now.

Backstage, following her SNL performances and pregnancy/baby bump reveal, Cardi B said in a video posted on social media, “I’m finally free!”

Cardi’s fiancé and baby daddy Offset responded on Twitter, saying that he was looking forward to their next chapter.

As for Cardi, she wrote that Baby Bardi was going to propel her success even further.

Congrats to Cardi B and Offset!

From the looks of it, Cardi is about five or six months pregnant, so Baby Bardi will probably arrive sometime near the end of the summer, either in July or August, right before she’s due to hit the road with Bruno Mars for the fourth and final leg of his “24K Magic” World Tour.

Sheree Whitfield Reportedly FIRED From “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (Again!); Kenya Moore Safe (For Now)

Wow, this is a shocker! Bravo shook the peach tree and the unlucky Atlanta housewife to lose her peach may not be who you think it is.

Love B Scott is exclusively reporting that Sheree Whitfield has been FIRED from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Though it has been heavily speculated for months that Kenya Moore would be the booted housewife, sources tell the gossip site Sheree was the first lady not asked to return for season 11.

Porsha Williams doesn’t seem too sad to see her only friend go. She cryptically wrote “karma” on Twitter, but the added peach emoji was all the shade we needed to catch the hint.

Sheree’s second departure is a little surprising, but I guess her odd romance with inmate Tyrone Gilliams just wasn’t enough to make a cold glass of sweet peach tea.

Sources say Porsha, NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, and Cynthia Bailey are all safe (for now) and expected to return next season. Housewife “friend” Eva Marcille may even be back.

Kenya was apparently saved because of her pregnancy announcement and reunion show antics. Producers were also pleased that her husband Marc Daly finally agreed to appear on the show.

Along with Sheree, fellow RHOA OG Kim Zolciak is also not expected film for season 11. Good riddance! Kim only appeared as a “friend” but her season 10 return was plagued by accusations she’s racist—which, to be quite honest, were kinda hard to debate.

Love B Scott also included a production note stating housewives are simultaneously notified of their pickup options approximately two weeks after the reunion show taping.

Note: All pickup letters are sent out simultaneously approximately two weeks after the taping of the reunion show(s) concludes. Each housewife is then notified whether their contract will be renewed. Bravo housewife contracts have pre-negotiated renewal clauses/options determining how many additional seasons their option is for and any respective salary increases. New contract negotiations do not occur each year.

Part One of the Season 10 Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion airs Sunday, April 8 on Bravo.

LISTEN: Cardi B Drops New Single “Drip” Featuring Migos

With just two days left until her debut album Invasion of Privacy drops, Cardi B is keeping the promo train going with the release of yet another new song.

This time, she’s teaming up with her fiancé Offset and his cousins Quavo and Takeoff, collectively known as Migos, for a new track called “Drip,” which hit the internet late Tuesday night (Apr. 3).

Cardi previously collaborated with Migos on their hit single “Motor Sport,” which also featured Nicki Minaj.

Just last Friday, Cardi released her album’s third single “Be Careful,” and just this past Monday night, she debuted the video for her second single “Bartier Cardi” (feat. 21 Savage) during an episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. And guess what? She’s not even close to being finished with her album promo.

The day after her album is released, she is set to perform on the April 7th episode of “Saturday Night Live.” And next Monday (Apr. 9), she’ll make history as the first person EVER to co-host “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon. On top of that, Cardi is also set to join Bruno Mars on the fourth and final North American leg of his 24K Magic tour this fall.

Invasion of Privacy is due out this Friday (Apr. 6).

New Street Drug Called “Gutter Water” is Reportedly Killing People in Nigeria

In a related post, a yet to be identified 24-year-old final year student has passed away after he reportedly consumed alcohol, codeine, Tramadol and marijuana at a party.

According to a Twitter user with the name Imperator Duduosa:

“A 24 yr old male final year university student died this morning. 5 days ago, he attended a party where he ingested an unknown quantity of liquor, codeine syrup, tramadol and marijuana. He ended up with bleeding from nostrils and mouth. And intractable seizures. He died in ICU.”

This story is so sad. People, please just don’t be out here take drugs without knowing the consequences of what you may be putting into your body.

WATCH: Videos From Nasim Aghdam’s Now-Deleted YouTube Channel

The suspected YouTube mass shooter, who wounded three people at the company’s San Bruno, California headquarters Tuesday afternoon (Apr. 3) before killing herself, was identified as 38-year-old Nasim Aghdam, a woman from Iran who moved to California with her family back in 1996.

Nasim Aghdam had a prolific presence on social media, and her now-deleted YouTube channels and Instagram accounts featured numerous rants against the company for allegedly censoring her and discriminating against her videos, which she believed caused her to lose money and viewers.

According to her website, Aghdam owned at least four separate YouTube channels: one in Farsi, one in Turkish, one in English and one dedicated to making beaded necklaces.

She wrote on her website: “The very first Persian vegan TV commercial and vegan music video was created by Nasim and launched through international Persian satellite  television ‘Andisheh TV’ for the first time in April, 2010. I also had TV shows on different Iranian TVs.”

YouTube has since deactivated all four of her channels “due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy against spam, deceptive practices, and misleading content or other Terms of Service violations,” the website said, however, you can watch some of her videos—which she also posted on Facebook and Instagram—below.

Based on how hard she worked to maintain her social media presence, it seems the 38-year-old the animal rights activist and self-proclaimed “vegan bodybuilder” had dreams of being a YouTube star. Her channels featured some pretty well-produced, albeit hella cheesy, green screen videos that showcased everything from cooking to exercise to arts and crafts.

The About section on her YouTube channel read:

Nasim the Persian Azeri female vegan bodybuilder, also animal rights activist promoting healthy and humane living. Nasim produced and launched the first Persian TV commercial and music video (Do You Dare) regarding animal rights and veganism through international Iranian satellite Television in 2010.

Nasim’s father, Ismail Aghdam, told the San Jose Mercury News that he reported his daughter to police after she went missing and stopped answering phone calls from her family. Ismail said that he was particularly concerned about Nasim’s feelings towards YouTube, and prior to the shooting, he said he warned police that she had became angry with the popular video service after they stopped paying her for the content she posted online.

Early Tuesday morning, at around 2 a.m. (about 11 hours before the shooting), Mountain View police were able to locate Aghdam, who they said had been sleeping in her car. They assured Mr. Aghdam that his daughter was OK and everything was “under control.” Nasim’s father said he and his family were unaware that Nasim owned a gun. “Maybe she bought one” recently, he said.

Nasim’s brother, Shahran Aghdam, said she had been recently living with their grandmother in San Diego and echoed his father’s revelation that Nasim wasn’t fond of YouTube in recent times. “She was always complaining that YouTube ruined her life,” he said. Shahran said when he found out his sister was in Mountain View, he said he Googled the city and found out it was near YouTube’s headquarters. He said he called Mountain View police, who found her and reported back to him that she was OK and they would watch her from there.

Her YouTube channel remained active for a short time following the mass shooting at YouTube’s headquarters, which left three people wounded (a fourth person injured their ankle likely while running away) and Aghdam dead of what police say was a self-inflicted wound. She had thousands of subscribers on all four of her channels, and her videos had been watched millions of times collectively.

Aghdam also has a DailyMotion account, which is still currently active at the moment, where she uploaded 44 videos but has less than 100 followers. The videos there, with a collective 100K+ views, ranged from exercise tutorials to cooking demonstrations (like one about a vegan omelet) and parodies, such as one of America’s Got Talent.

[videopress ntydySEg permalink=”false” hd=”true”]

In one of her deleted YouTube videos, Aghdam complained about the company discriminating and filtering her content. Aghdam says in the video that her channel used to get lots of views, but after being censored/filtered by the company, it received much fewer views. In a Facebook post from February 2017 Aghdam blasted YouTube saying, “There is not equal growth opportunity on YouTube.”

[videopress zEhLMhE0 permalink=”false” hd=”true”]

She also wrote on Instagram:

“All my youtube channels got filtered by youtube so my videos hardly get views and it is called ‘merely relegation.’ This is also happening to many other channels on youtube. This is the peaceful tactic used on the internet to censor and suppress people who speak the truth and are not good for the financial, political … gains of the system and big businesses. I recently got filtered on instagram too and maybe its related to youtube and youtube staff asked instagram to filter me here too!!?”

[videopress k5jQzAHJ permalink=”false” hd=”true”]

Overall, it appeared she was trying to be a YouTube star, judging by the numerous goofy parody videos. One of the clips was a comedy video called “Americans Iranians” and another was a Taylor Swift parody video.

[videopress NknXcCUL permalink=”false” hd=”true”]

Other social media posts and videos from her YouTube channel referred to veganism, cooking, and animal rights.

[videopress ca3tI2BN permalink=”false” hd=”true”]

She was quoted in a 2009 Los Angeles Times article when she participated in a PETA-sponsored protest advocating for animal rights. “For me animal rights equals human rights,” the article quoted a then 29-year-old Nasim Aghdam as saying. “Just because they can’t talk doesn’t mean we should take advantage of them,” she also said, according to the article, which identified her as “a construction company office manager from San Diego.”

Authorities haven’t yet specified a motive for the shooting. Despite earlier news reports out of California saying that the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic dispute, police later said that this wasn’t true. Aghdam died at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said. The identities of the three other people who were shot haven’t yet been released.

Nasim Aghdam: YouTube HQ Shooter’s Family Tried to Warn Police She Was “Angry” With the Company Prior to the Shooting

Officials have identified a 38-year-old woman named Nasim Aghdam as the suspect who opened fire at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California on Tuesday (Apr. 3), NBC News reports. She was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after shooting multiple people outside YouTube’s HQ.

Aghdam was born in Iran and was a resident of Riverside, California at the time of the shooting. She was active on YouTube and was known for ranting about the company and complaining about its policies in videos on her YouTube channels, on Instagram, and on her own website.

Investigators initially categorized the shooting as a domestic dispute, however, they believe it may have been the result of grievances she had with YouTube.

The shooting appears to have occurred in a courtyard area on YouTube’s campus, San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini said. Law enforcement officials said Aghdam approached an outdoor patio and dining area at YouTube’s headquarters and opened fire with a 9mm handgun. Senior officials said they don’t believe the incident is connected to terrorism.

Aghdam—who identified as Persian and frequently posted videos and other posts in both English and Farsi, the official language of Iran—had various online aliases including Nasim Sabz and Nasin VeganBreeze.

Here are some things you need to know about Nasim Aghdam and the YouTube headquarters shooting.

1Nasim Aghdam had her own channel on YouTube and was angry at the company for allegedly discriminating against her videos, which caused her to lose money and views.

While it was initially believed that Aghdam, 39, was a “disgruntled employee,” authorities don’t believe she had any direct connection to YouTube, however, according to NBC, she did have her own YouTube Channel, where she would often post videos that featured rants against the company.

Her YouTube channel, where she posted under the name “Nasim Wonder1,” has since been deleted. Before its deletion, she boasted more than 5,000 subscribers and her videos had been collectively watched millions of times.

The About page on her channel read:

Nasim the Persian Azeri female vegan bodybuilder, also animal rights activist promoting healthy and humane living. Nasim produced and launched the first Persian TV commercial and music video (Do You Dare) regarding animal rights and veganism through international Iranian satellite Television in 2010.

In addition to her YouTube channel, Aghdam was also known for ranting about the platform on her own website because she believed that the company was purposely filtering her channel to keep her from getting views.

Aghdam wrote on her website, “This video got age restricted after new close-minded YouTube employees, got control of my Farsi YouTube channel last year 2016 & began filtering my videos to reduce views & suppress & discaurage [sic] me from making videos!”

Another message on her site read, “There is no free speech in [the] real world & you will be suppressed for telling the truth that is not supported by the system. Videos of targeted users are filtered & merely relegated, so that people can hardly see their videos! There is no equal growth opportunity on YouTube or any other video sharing site, your channel will grow if they want to!!!!”

She also felt the need to point out the fact that her Instagram followers and interaction were all real, and not purchased like some people with large followers sometimes do.

“My Instagram followers, views, likes are real. On instagram, you can buy pages, buy likes, buy followers,….” she wrote. “But mine are real, without advertising or using programs designed to promote instagram pages.”

2Aghdam identified as “Baha’i” and her online posts were in both English and Farsi, the official language of Iran. She also had various online aliases including Nasim (or “Nasime”) Sabz and Nasim VeganBreeze.

Aghdam, who referred to herself as “Persian,” had an online presence that consisted of a number of posts, photos and videos in English and in Farsi, which is the official language of Iran. She posted several videos on Instagram discussing subjects like freedom of speech. “When it comes to freedom of speech do you think Iran is better than the USA or the USA is better than Iran?” Aghdam asked her IG followers in a video posted on Sunday, March 25.

She wrote on her website:

Be aware! Dictatorship exists in all countries but with different tactics! They only care for personal short term profits & do anything to reach their goals even by fooling simple-minded people, hiding the truth, manipulating science & everything, putting public mental & physical health at risk, abusing non-human animals, polluting environment, destroying family values, promoting materialism & sexual degeneration in the name of freedom,….. & turning people into programmed robots! ‘Make the lie big, Make it simple, Keep saying it, And eventually they will believe it’ Adolf Hitler.

In an article posted under one of her aliases, Aghdam revealed that she identified as Baha’i. Using the name Nasime Sabz, Aghdam talked about her spiritual beliefs and also said that Baha’i followers are “frequently persecuted in Iran.”

The Baha’i organization’s website describes the religion as follows:

In thousands upon thousands of locations around the world, the teachings of the Bahá’í Faith inspire individuals and communities as they work to improve their own lives and contribute to the advancement of civilization. Bahá’í beliefs address such essential themes as the oneness of God and religion, the oneness of humanity and freedom from prejudice, the inherent nobility of the human being, the progressive revelation of religious truth, the development of spiritual qualities, the integration of worship and service, the fundamental equality of the sexes, the harmony between religion and science, the centrality of justice to all human endeavours, the importance of education, and the dynamics of the relationships that are to bind together individuals, communities, and institutions as humanity advances towards its collective maturity.

On one of Aghdam’s websites, she criticized the Middle Eastern practice of animal sacrifices, writing, “Backyard slaughters are also common among Middle Easterns (sic) & Muslims even Bahai’s who believe in animal sacrifice & think animal blood will bring joy to their lives. In western countries they do it in their backyards or even bathtubs.”

According to another website of hers, Aghdam had four YouTube channels: one in Farsi, one in Turkish, one in English and one dedicated to making beaded necklaces.

YouTube has since deactivated all four pages “due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy against spam, deceptive practices, and misleading content or other Terms of Service violations,” the website said.

3Aghdam was an animal rights activist and a “vegan bodybuilder.”

Aghdam called herself a “vegan bodybuilder” and frequently shared workout videos on YouTube. She explained to Vegan Idea World in a now deleted interview (which was re-posted by a site called Peaceful Dumpling) her decision to become vegan:

“From a very young age I used to care about the animals and their welfare, and think about the source of meat and where it came from and I knew that the fried chicken on my dinner plate once was a beautiful yellow chick! I was surprised to learn how people were so indifferent toward humanitarian issues; why harming and killing innocent animals were so normal to them; why they followed the ancient traditions no matter what they were; why they looked at meat only as delicious food and not look at the source of this product. From that age I started opposing eating meat and wearing animal skin, and what my family and other people said in order to discourage me had no effect on me because I had faith that my belief was true and that meat is not a food of compassion and kindness.”

She also talked about veganism from the perspective of health and explained how athletes could benefit from a healthy vegetarian diet:

“Vegan diet is the healthiest diet for humans because the human body is naturally an herbivore body. The human body is not driven to attack, tear apart, eat or drink [the] blood of a live animal upon laying eyes on her/him. But when someone sees a grape on a vine, her/his mouth waters, walks toward the grape, picks and eats it. By contrast, when you see a dead animal on the side of the road, are you tempted to eat the animal with your bare hands?

“Following a vegan, especially raw vegan, diet benefits our health, animal welfare and survival of the planet earth because animal products are one of the major causes of environmental pollution and destruction. I grew up as a vegetarian but after becoming aware of how inhumanely other animal products such as milk, dairy and eggs are produced and how harmful these products are to [the] human body, I went vegan.

“I have been a vegetarian from a young age and I used to realize how much healthier my body is compared to others. I always had higher energy, was active in sports and had [a] stronger immune system (hardly caught a cold) unlike what most omnivores experienced. After going vegan, I felt much more healthier and lighter, even more energetic. Most common question meat eater athletes ask vegans is how you can get energy from eating plants–and where you get your protein. Meat eaters believe that the only source of protein for building muscle is animal protein. The fact is that animal protein slows down digestion and the body has to get more energy from [the] body to work harder to break down this protein because [the] human body is not designed to digest meat. But plant-based protein is easily absorbed and turned into energy.

“This is one reason why vegans are more energetic. Almost any food has protein in it and foods high in protein are legumes, nuts, seeds and dark leafy green vegetables. Going vegan is so easy and the only important thing that we need to consider is eating a variety of plant-based whole foods and not even worry about taking supplements. I have never needed to worry about measuring my protein, vitamin or calories intake. You will know what, when and how much to eat when you become acquainted with your body.”

She also said that we as humans should “more plant-based whole foods and stay away from processed/filtered foods because the methods of preparation strip a lot of the nutrients.”

Aghdam’s social media pages contained lots of graphic images of animals being mistreated. Several of the posts on her “vegan” page were censored by Instagram, as seen below, because of how disturbing the content was. Like her YouTube channels, both her personal and vegan Instagram accounts have been deleted as well. She also had a Facebook page under the name “Nasime Sabz,” which was also deleted.

Nasim Aghdam pictured at a PETA protest in 2009

Nearly a decade ago, back in 2009, Aghdam participated in a protest organized by PETA at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California, where she joined about two dozen other activists who protested the killing of live pigs for military training sessions for Marines and sailors.

News accounts published around the time of the protest said she carried a plastic sword and wore pants spattered with fake blood. “For me animal rights equals human rights. Just because they can’t talk doesn’t mean we should take advantage of them,” a then-29-year-old Aghdam told The Los Angeles Times.

4Aghdam had been reported missing by her family, and her father and brother both told police she was angry with YouTube prior to the shooting.

Ismail Aghdam, Nasim’s father, spoke with Mercury News in a telephone interview following Tuesday’s shooting. He told the outlet that he had called police prior to the shooting and told them that his daughter had been missing for two days.

Mr. Aghdam said he also told police that his daughter may have been headed to YouTube because she “hated” the company because they were censoring her videos and had stopped paying her for them. “She was angry,” he told Mercury News.

On Tuesday, April 3 around 2 a.m. Pacific time (about 11 hours before the shooting), Mountain View police found Aghdam, who they said had been sleeping in her car, but she was OK and everything was “under control,” Aghdam’s father said.

“Our officers made contact with the woman after the license plate of her vehicle matched that of a missing person out of Southern California,” Mountain View Police spokeswoman Katie Nelson said. “The woman confirmed her identity to us and answered subsequent questions. At the conclusion of our discussion, her family was notified that she had been located.”

Ismail Aghdam also told Mercury News that he and his family were unaware that Nasim owned a gun. “Maybe she bought one” recently, he said. Mr. Aghdam asked one reporter about the condition of the victims, Mercury News reported. Nasim’s brother, Shahran Aghdam, also spoke to the media outlet from the family’s home Tuesday night, and his mother could reportedly be heard crying in the background.

Shahran said the family came to California from Iran in 1996, and he said Nasim had been recently living with their grandmother in San Diego. He said, “She was always complaining that YouTube ruined her life.” He also said his sister had been missing since Saturday and wasn’t answering her cell phone.

When Shahran found out she was in Mountain View, he said Googled the city and found it was near YouTube’s headquarters. He said he called the Mountain View police, who found her and reported back to him that she was fine and they would watch her from there. Wednesday would have been Nasim’s 39th birthday, Shahran said.

5Aghdam shot three people. Police originally believed a male who was injured was an intended target, and don’t believe the shooting was an act of terrorism.

Police have yet to reveal a motive behind the shooting, and though law enforcement officials initially believed could have been due to a “domestic-related dispute,” MSNBC reported, investigators are now saying, “there is no evidence that the shooter knew the victims of this shooting or that individuals were specifically targeted.” They do, however, believe that the shooting was not terror-related “in any way,” MSNBC reported.

“This woman came to the YouTube workplace with a specific target in mind; someone she knew, someone with whom she wanted to settle a grievance. She shot that person, she may have shot a second person who was with him, intentionally. We’re not sure about the third person,” MSNBC reporter Pete Williams originally said, however, this has not been confirmed.

San Bruno police confirmed that four people were taken to area hospitals and treated for injuries. Three of the victims had been shot and one had a broken ankle. San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini said during a press conference:

“We did encounter one victim with an apparent gunshot wound, towards the front of the business as we arrived. Several minutes later, while conducting a search of the premises, officers located a second individual with a gunshot wound, that [may have been] self inflicted. We are still working on confirming that. Two additional victims were located several minutes later at an adjacent business. The extent of all the injuries of our victims, are unknown right now. They were all transported for emergency medical care… We have four victims who have all been transported for gunshot-related [injuries].”

Brent Andrew from San Francisco General Hospital told the media, “We received three patients.” A 36-year-old male was listed in critical condition at this time. A female victim was listed in serious condition and a third victim, another female, was said to be in fair condition.

Officials previously believed the male in critical condition may have been Nasim Aghdam’s intended target, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Donald Trump Clowned on Twitter After Struggling to Describe the White House at Easter Egg Roll

Donald Trump is an idiot, this we know, but it’s still amazing to see how far his stupidity can go at times.

During a short, nonsensical speech before the traditional White Hous Easter Egg Roll Monday (Apr. 3), y’alls president—flanked by the First Lady, who clearly doesn’t want to be there, and an Easter Bunny with a hilariously perfect expression on its face—struggled with the simple task of describing the home he’s been living in for the past year and some change.

He also did that thing he does where he just says random things that make no sense and rambles on and on about absolutely nothing, which irritates the hell out of me. And he also bragged about the military having a $700 billion budget. (Like… who does this?!)

Watch here:

Welcome to the 2018 White House Easter Egg Roll. So many people. You know, it was supposed to be pouring, the weather. It was supposed to be very rainy and nasty and cold and windy. And look what we have: perfect weather. Perfect weather. Beautiful weather.

Thank you all for being here, folks. Thank you all. I want to really thank the First Lady, Melania, who has done an incredible job. She worked so hard on this event, and I so want to thank you. (Applause.) That’s beautiful.

Also, I want to thank the White House Historical Association and all of the people that work so hard with Melania, with everybody, to keep this incredible house or building, or whatever you want to call it — because there really is no name for it; it is special — and we keep it in tip-top shape. We call it sometimes tippy-top shape. And it’s a great, great place.

It’s an honor to have everybody. On behalf of the Trump family, many of whom are with us right here in the audience, I just want to thank you. This is a special year. Our country is doing great. You look at the economy; you look at what’s happening. Nothing is ever easy, but we have never had an economy like we have right now. And we’re going to make it bigger and better and stronger.

Our military is now at a level — will soon be at a level that it’s never been before. It’s a — you see what’s happening, and you see what’s happening with funding. The funding of our military was so important. And so many military people are with us today. So just think of $700 billion, because that’s all going into our military this year.

So I want to thank you all for being here. The band, unbelievable. I love you people. I hear them a lot. They’re as talented as anybody and any players anywhere. So thank you very much.

And now, I’m going to come down, and we’re going to watch this roll. Thank you, all. And have a great time. Thank you. Happy Easter. Thank you very much.

Unsurprisingly, this isn’t the first time the Tangerine Tyrant has struggled with saying things:
