Legendary singer/songwriter Chaka Khan recently sat down with friend to GOT, B. Scott (of LoveBScott.com), and opened up about a number of topics. Among the highlights include the R&B legend candidly discussing her stellar career, past substance abuse and how she feels about follow diva Mariah Carey, who she says is a good friend of hers.
“Mariah is one of the few people that I love in this business and she’s a sweet girl. I would suit up and show up for her. Now there are a lot of people I wouldn’t [do that for]. She’s one of the few, because most of my friends are people who work at the post office and at the bank. [Just] regular people.”
Chaka Khan also spoke on growing up Roman Catholic, bragged on her 3 grandchildren (just like a proud grandmama) and even belted out a few notes from a Stevie Wonder song. Check out the footage below!
