Kim Kardashian gave Kanye West the perfect father’s day gift by giving birth to their daughter over the weekend.
According to TMZ, Kim started having contractions late Friday night, and went to the hospital early Saturday morning after she went into full labor. The baby reportedly came about 5 weeks early, but otherwise, Kim and the baby girl are both said to be in good health.
Early reports indicated that Kanye wouldn’t be in the delivery room on account of him being too squeamish and not being able to handle the sight of blood, but TMZ’s sources say ‘Ye was there for the whole thing:
Our sources say BF Kanye West was there for the entire thing — in the delivery room by Kim’s side. We’re told Kanye cancelled his appearance at his own record release party last night when Kim told him she was feeling “a little off.”
The baby girl is the first child for Kim and Kanye, who have been dating since late last year, shortly after Kim infamously filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage. Fortunately for Kim, her divorce was officially finalized earlier this month.
Coincidentally, Kanye’s next album ‘Yeezus’ leaked over the weekend, just days before its scheduled release on Tuesday (Jun 18), making for a pretty big weekend for the rapper press-wise.
Kim and Kanye’s baby’s name has yet to be revealed, but you should definitely expect it to begin with a K.
