Beyonce is putting her famous face to work for a good cause. Along with other famous faces including Salma Hayek, Beyonce is starring in the newest campaign video for Gucci’s Chime for Change.
“I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women,” says Beyonce about her role in the campaign. “Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be.”
Chime for Change is an organization devoted to promoting education, health, and justice for women and girls around the world.
In the campaign video women from around the world are featured protesting for equal rights and Hayek speaks over the clips. Hillary Clinton is featured talking about the possibility of a woman becoming president and women from the Middle East are shown talking about Malala Yousafzai — a young girl that was shot in the head by the Taliban (and survived) for attending school.
The video also marks the first time Beyonce introduces her self as Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.
