It seems that in between being a singer, business woman, and mother to daughter Blu Ivy Carter, Beyonce has found time to keep up with pop culture as well.
Queen Bey, who caused everyone to forget there was a football game during the Super Bowl on Sunday, used a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reference to describe her Super Bowl halftime set.
The 31-year-old, who was joined onstage by Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams said her performance was “fierce hunty!” and “Gone With the Wind Fabulous“ — RHOA star Kenya Moore‘s now famous catchphrase, and the title of her “single.”
Not surprisingly, the sassy reality star is thrilled that Sasha Fierce herself mentioned her single.
“Beyonce’s performance at the Super Bowl gave me LIFE! Not only is she the hottest woman on the planet, but she literally burned up the stage at the Super Bowl with her fierce hotness! The fact that my favorite singer would acknowledge that she too is ‘Gone With The Wind Fabulous’ has been a highlight of my year,” Moore told the Huffington Post.
“That’s what I love about Beyonce, she has it all — she’s a mogul, mother, wife and icon, and she keeps it real all the way down to her dangerous curves. And she can laugh at my corny reference to us being twins. She’s perfect in my eyes and a real inspiration. I’m so honored!”
All the more shocking is that Beyonce also quoted YouTube sensation Sweet Brown.
When asked about the blackout that occurred during the big game, right after her performance, the “Love On Top” singer exclaimed, “Lord, Jesus, it’s a fire!”
Following her performance, Beyonce announced her forthcoming “Mrs. Carter Tour.”
Presale tickets go on sale Feb. 8 and may be purchased through Ticketmaster. Regular tickets will be available on Feb. 11 at 10 a.m.
