Halle Berry was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles Tuesday night (Jul 17) after she fell and hit her head on concrete while shooting her new movie “The Hive.”
According to her reps, Berry “suffered a minor head injury” as a result of the accident, and has since been released from the hospital.
“She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue production as planned,” reps for the actress said in a statement.
Coincidentally, this is far from Halle Berry’s first movie-related injury.
Just last September, the actress broke her foot while on a day off from shooting the film “Cloud Atlas” in Spain.
That injury forced her to work with a stunt double, and producers were only able to shoot the actress from the waist up.
In 2004, Halle hit her head on the set of “Catwoman” but she wasn’t seriously injured.
And while shooting the 1993 TV miniseries “Queen,” she fell off a horse and injured her tailbone, which shut down production for almost two weeks.
It might be time for Halle to hire a permanent body double for scenes that involve any sudden movements, don’t you think?
