And in the seventh episode, the Houstons head to the mountains for a spiritual retreat, but healing is put on hold when someone is rushed to the hospital.

And in the fifth episode, Nick and Pat try to get Krissy’s mind off her mother — Nick with a carefree day of puppy adoption, and Pat with some practical furniture shopping for the apartment. Pat also challenges Gary to a game of basketball to see who is in better shape.
