(IMAGES: GETTY IMAGES) A chicago-native basketball player, Derrick Rose, got the number one draft pick in the past 2008 NBA Draft to play for the Chicago Bulls. He’s only a freshman getting recognized by the NBA. He played for the Memphis Tigers in the NCAA. Derrick Rose didn’t show no shyness away from being picked first in the NBA Draft:

“I’m so competitive. I always have that little thing in my mind that I want to be number one.”

Congrats to D. Rose for making to the league and that shows you anyone can achieve their dream if the strive hard! I’m personally happy for him and can’t wait to see him on court doing his thing at the United Center next year.
