Actor/comedian George Lopez has been named Nokia’s First Hall of Famer. He and actress Eva Longoria Parker attended his induction ceremony into the Nokia Theater’s Hall of Fame Tuesday (Dec 15) in Los Angeles. His plaque (the very first one) was unveiled while he and Eva posed for pictures and talked to press at the induction ceremony.
Lopez earned this honor due to him grossing over $8 million and performing on stage in 20 different shows and surpassing ticket sales of more than 100,000 at the new venue, which only holds 7,100 people. George, who hosts a late night talk show series on TBS called “Lopez Tonight,” will return to the Nokia Theater’s LA Live this month for six shows (Dec 18-20, 26-27 & 29).
