It was announced this morning by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office that R&B singer Chris Brown is being charged with two felonies – assault and making criminal threats. These charges stem from the alleged incident in which he beat his girlfriend Rihanna last month the weekend of the 2009 Grammys.
According to DA spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons, If the young pop singer is convicted, he could face anywhere from probation up to a maximum or 4 years and 8 months in state prison. He’s expected to enter a plea in court today. We’ll keep you updated!
