During Sunday night’s episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” international pop icon Lady Gaga revealed to the talk show queen that she is going silent “for a very long time.”
Gaga’s little monsters have nothing to worry about though, as the “Born This Way” singer disclosed to Oprah that the only people she will not be talking to are press.
Gaga explained of her new creative process, “The latest thing I do is I don’t read a damn thing. No press, no television. If my mom calls and says, ‘Did you hear about?’ I don’t want to know nothing about anything that is going on in relation to music. I shut it all off.”
She continued, “Other than this interview, Oprah, I don’t intend to speak to anyone for a very long time. I have to shut out the noise.”
Gaga also opened up about wanting to settle down and become a mother someday. “I want kids. I want a soccer team, and I want a husband,” she told Oprah.
Joined by her mother Cynthia Germanotta, Lady Gaga also talked about being bullied when she was younger, her Born This Way Foundation, how her love of music began, the death of her idol Whitney Houston, being “very happy” and in love and much more.
