After a year-and-a-half of self imposed exile from social networking site Twitter, the teen star Miley Cyrus officially rejoined the site on Monday (Apr 4).
Cyrus took over the official feed for her upcoming Gypsy Heart Tour and posted this message:
‘Do not fear…the Sheenius is here!’ I’m not gonna lie. I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow @charliesheen #winning.”
Cyrus had 1.1 million Twitter followers when she abruptly quit the social networking site in October 2009, saying “I want my private life private.”
Although Cyrus tweeted that she doesn’t plan to resurrect her old @mileycyrus account “any time soon,” she’s using the @gypsyhearttour account as a personal account, posting a photo of her dog Lila, and tweeting about eating dinner with her family.
