According to published reports, Lindsay Lohan is preparing to sue Kamofie & Company, the jewelery store accusing her of theft, because she feels they had no right to cash in from the sale of the infamous surveillance tape since Lindsay never gave them the right to use her image for profit.
Sources connected to the surveillance video allege that Kamofie & Co. sold the rights to distribute the tape to the Associated Press for a whopping $40,000. (That’s one expensive tape!) Then the AP turned around and struck its own deal with “Entertainment Tonight” in which the show obtained exclusive rights to air the tape for one week.
No word yet as to when Lindsay plans on filing the lawsuit.
