Hollywood starlets “accidentally” exposing themselves and landing on every website and newsstand across the world has become somewhat the norm. But this time round there will be nothing “accidental” about Lindsay Lohan baring all to the public.
According to new reports, the troubled actress is said to be “struggling” to find work after her recent troubles, and has agreed to pose nude in an explicit photographic book. Photographer Terry Richardson has reportedly persuaded the 24-year-old star to pose alongside her former love interest James Franco in the book, which will feature “full frontal nudity” and “graphic” shots.
The UK publication Daily Mirror spoke to an insider who disclosed:
“Lindsay is struggling to get another break in Hollywood. There’s a stigma attached to working with her and she is determined to change this – starting with the photographic book.
“Terry Richardson has persuaded Lindsay and James to get involved. He has assured them it will be provocative but tasteful. There will be a lot of nakedness – some of it graphic and suggestive – but it will be a real statement book. Obviously there will be comparisons to Madonna’s 1992 ‘Sex’ book. But James and Lindsay believe theirs will be classier.”
Lohan recently spent 2 weeks in jail for a DUI offense from 2007, and is currently awaiting trial for the alleged theft of a $2,500 necklace. She is also gearing up for an exclusive tell-all TV interview in April with late-night talk show host David Letterman in the hope of rebuilding her damaged reputation.
“Lindsay wants people to see the real her, not this drunken, out of control caricature she has become,” the source added.
Oh … we thought that the drunken, out of control caricature she has become WAS the real her! Oops, our bad!
