R&B soul singer/songwriter Mary J. Blige took the stage at BET Studios in New York City yesterday (Tues. Dec 15) to perform for BET’s “Words & Music with Mary J. Blige.” Her performances, which will include short breaks to explain the deep meaning of her songs (sort of like VH1’s “Storytellers” or MTV’s “Unplugged” series), will air on television next Tuesday (Dec 22) at 7:30 P.M. on BET.
