I guess I have to be a 14-year-old girl to know why these kiddies are screaming frantically. The young lady singing in the audience was killing me softly as I watched the clip though! Jamie Lynn Spears ain’t the only white girl in Hollywood who recently got knocked up! There’s another celebrity who’s expecting, but unfortunately for her, her story hasn’t made big headlines because of JL’s teen pregnancy. The only hints I can give you that won’t completely give away her identity is that she’s a pretty well-known actress, and has starred in a movie about super heroes, and a dancing movie, among others. Who is she??
Lil Mama’s Mother Passes Away
I might be a tad late on this, but I had no idea. Lil Mama, whose real name is Niatia Jessica Kirkland, recently lost her mother after a 4-year battle with cancer. She was diagnosed with the disease in 2003. Lil Mama received the news of her mother’s passing while at an Atlanta concert; and she immediately returned to New York City. My condolences go out to her at this time.
Destiny’s Child Reunion on the Horizon?
Kelly Rowland claims Destiny’s Child are considering a reunion after witnessing the highly successful reload of the Spice Girls. Kelly told reporters in Britain:
This current spate of reunions has given us ideas. Despite what people say we are all still really close. Beyonce did a show in LA and asked me and Michelle to join her on stage for Survivor. The emotion was incredible and it felt so good to be back up there with the girls again. It was a real tear-jerker. The fans were crying and going nuts. It was magical. I’d definitely like us to do more stuff like that.
We all know Kelly’s looking out for a reunion! Everybody likes a little money in their pockets, right?
Ruben Studdard Dropped from J Records
American Idol Season 2 winner Ruben Studdard has reportedly been dropped from his record label. J Records, the label run by record mogul Clive Davis, cut Ruben earlier this week due to declining album sales.
Studdard’s first CD, “Soulful,” was a big hit in 2003, going platinum. And his second album, “I Need an Angel,” a gospel album, also sold well, despite being aimed at a specialty audience. But the poor sales for his 2006 CD, “The Return,” apparently prompted the label to let him go. That CD sold less than 250,000 copies.
Studdard, meanwhile, has turned his attention to the stage. He is reportedly preparing to star in a road-show version of the Broadway hit “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” playing the lead character, jazz great Fats Waller. So all is not lost I suppose.
Chingy Hits up “The Wendy Williams Experience”
Rapper Chingy recently hit up “The Wendy Williams Experience” to suffer a brutal tongue lashing from Wendy and her bitch, Charlemagne. The interview started off with “Charley” calling him wack, and Chingy surprised me by keeping his composure. Real talk, if I were a celebrity I would neeeeever sit down with Wendy and that guy. Kanye West to Spin Magazine: “I Don’t Want Black Peoples’ Credit”
Kanye West and Daft Punk are featured on the cover of the latest issue of Spin Magazine. You may not know Daft Punk by name, but if you’ve ever taken a listen to Kanye’s hit single “Stronger,” you’ve heard them before. The entire song is based around a sample of their song, “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.” Doesn’t that sound familiar?
SPIN: You think Graduation is blacker than The College Dropout?
KANYE: Way blacker. “Can’t Tell Me Nothing†— how hood is that record?
“Good Life†is straight Steve Harvey, all day long. “Flashing Lights� I never had a record that was that black. But it’s white at the same time. Certain things are so good it doesn’t have to be white or black. That’s what Graduation is. Take “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.†It’s a white sample, but everything I do to it is to make it as black as possible. Tony Romo, Keep Your Girlfriends Farrrr Away from the Stands!
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens says he was only joking when he blamed quarterback Tony Romo’s lousy performance last Sunday on the presence of his new girlfriend, singer Jessica Simpson.
“I tried to get [Romo] to call her so I can explain to her that she doesn’t really know me and I can be funny,” Owens told The Dallas Morning News yesterday. “It’s not a big deal. I will try to rectify the situation between her and I.”
T.O. made a comment after the game targeting the Simpson after Dallas’ 10-6 loss to Philadelphia. Romo threw three interceptions as the Cowboys failed to score a touchdown. Jessica attended the game sporting a Tony Romo jersey with a pink #9. Reports say the last time Romo played so poorly, his then-girlfriend, singer Carrie Underwood, was in the stands.
“Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite in this locker room,” Owens initially said. “I think with everything that happened, and obviously the way Tony played … I think a lot of people feel like she’s kind of taken his focus away.” … “I understand how everybody was looking at Jessica Simpson as a distraction, and that’s definitely not how I saw it,” Owens said. “[Romo] had a bad game. I don’t think she had anything to do with it.”
I don’t think she (or Carrie Underwood) had anything to do with it either. I think Tony Romo just gets stupid nervous when his girlfriends are in the stands. Most guys play BETTER when their other half is watching them. What’s up with this guy?? Lol. Anyhow, I don’t think J.S. took what he said to heart anyhow. We all know how slow she can be =) My advice to Tony? Keep your girlfriend’s at home! With new HDTV and surround sound technologies, it’s just like being at the game. Really, it is!

Fantasia’s Not Pregnant, Soulja Boy’s Mom is Alive, and J.Holiday Didn’t Die in a Plane Crash
Last week was the debut of a few nasty rumors. Supposedly Fantasia was pregnant, Soulja Boy’s mom had passed away, and J.Holiday had died in a plane crash (even though he’s on tour and riding a TOUR BUS). I would love to know where some of these ridiculous rumors start…
FANTASIA AND HER 6-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER ZION
According to a few sources, over the past 9 months Fantasia has been missing a few shows (50+ to be exact lol) due to exhaustion/being sick. Needless to say, the folks at Broadway weren’t happy. When the star doesn’t show, a stand-in fills in for them, and the people who attend the show are entitled to a refund. So they lose a lot of money when this happens. But anyhow, back to the rumor. Apparently the NY Post’s Michael Riedel added to the story stating that the American Idol winner was pregnanty with Young Dro’s baby, making it seem like that was the reason why she was missing all of the shows. Fantasia has since then come out and clarified all of the misconceptions with a statement:
It is true that she has missed some performances because she has gotten sick from time to time over the nine months, but doing eight shows a week is a lot so she missed a few.
Fantasia, who already has a 6-year-old daughter, Zion Quari, is scheduled to end her extended Broadway run as Miss Celie on January 6th. Chaka Khan and Bebe Winans join the cast as Sofia and Harpo on January 9th. Check out our clear up of the rest of the rumors after the jump!
Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant!

No, this is NOT a rumor! I repeat, this is NOT A RUMOR! Britney Spears’s 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears is indeed pregnant. Sad, but 100% true. Nickelodeon, which carries her TV show Zoey 101, said in a statement:
We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.
Spears and her mother confirmed the pregnancy to OK! magazine, saying she was 12 weeks along and the father is Jamie Lynn’s longtime boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Aldridge’s mother confirmed it to TMZ. For more on this, check out PEOPLE!
It’s sad, but I can’t say that I’m 100% surprised about this. It’s a little more shocking because she’s in the limelight, unlike most teenage mothers. I can’t even count with my 2 hands and 2 feet the number of girls in my school who are already pregnant, or have had their babies. Do girls really think that’s cute??
Oh yeah, her boyfriend is 19 years old! Isn’t that illegal, or something??

Amy Winehouse Arrested in London

Entertainment gossip’s favorite celebrity (well, at least one of them) Amy Crackhouse was arrested Tuesday in London in connection with an alleged $400,000 plot to fix her husband’s assault trial. A statement from the singer’ s rep said:
Amy Winehouse attended a London police station today on a voluntary basis at a pre-agreed time. She was arrested, but hat is common practice for someone being interviewed by police. No charges have been brought.
She was formally booked on a charge of perverting justice and has since then been released.
“Jeremy McIntire” (We Know him as Damon Dash) Hit With Sexual Assault Lawsuit!

Damon Dash, former Roc-a-fella CEO, is in hot water for allegedly exposing himself to an Atlanta woman, and requesting that she perform oral sex on him. Dame met the woman, Jamie Roberts, and introduced himself as “Jeremy McIntire” at a party in 2004 in Miami. Dash insists he has never even met his 24-year-old accuser.
“It’s quite obvious that this is a false allegation,” Dash said in a statement. “We know nothing about it.”
A complaint filed in Manhattan Supreme Court says the encounter left the woman – who admits to suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder – hearing Dash’s voice in her ear “giving her certain instructions to follow.” Roberts alleges she met someone introducing himself as “Jeremy McIntyre” at a Miami nightclub in March 2004, and agreed to rendezvous with him later at a marina near the club.
Roberts, who declined comment, also claims she never had a clue who Dash was until she spotted him on “Chappelle’s Show.” She is seeking $30,000 in damages. Dash was sued by an ex-model who accused him of a 2003 sexual assault in Brazil, and has had a long-running court battle with the mother of one of his children. [ NY DAILY NEWS ]

Karrine “Superhead” Steffans needs some bills paid, so she’s selling off some of her clothes. No, not clothes that she’s designed, but clothes that she’s WORN! Yeah, tha’ts the same face I made when I heard about that foolishness too! Definitely not a good look. My guess is that all sales are final since this shit right here is on the level of a “garage/yard sale,” so if you bring home a dress with some questionable spots … you’re stuck with it! So ladies, proceed with caution … for real!
