Yesterday, we reported that R&B singer Ne-Yo was engaged to and expecting his second child with his longtime girlfriend Monyetta Shaw.
But it turns out only half of that is true.

On Monday, a rep for Shaws — who happens to be promoting a new boutique in Atlanta — told Us Weekly that the parents-to-be were engaged.
But, despite that claim, a rep for Ne-Yo (real name: Shaffer Chimere Smith) later set the record straight to Us: Although the couple is expecting again, there is no engagement just yet.
So Monyetta’s reps (Really? She has her own reps? What exactly does she do?) say they’re engaged, but Ne-Yo’s people say they aren’t.
Oh … Okay. **Walks away clearly confused***
