British pop star Leona Lewis already has a reputation for being a good girl, but now she says she’s not only a good girl … she’s a “good diva.” And she’s not going around spending unnecessary money unlike her celebrity counterparts.

“The term ‘diva’ has such a negative connotation, but I see myself as a kind of good diva. I’m a next-door diva,” she said in the latest issue of Petra magazine.

Leona says she doesn’t make crazy demands and insists that she’s very frugal, unlike most pop stars in the industry. And her biggest purchases so far have been her house and her two cost-efficient environmentally friendly whips.

“The biggest things I’ve bought are a house and my two cars. One of the cars is a Mini Cooper. But in Los Angeles I always drive a Hybrid Toyota Prius which is very environmentally friendly.”

Eva Marcille and Lance Gross hit up Eva’s 25th birthday celebration at EZ Studios in New York City Saturday night (Oct 31). Eva’s birthday party doubled as a Halloween party and we’re not entirely sure who Eva went as … but if we could guess, we’d say Lance went as a “Blood.”

Steph Jones posted this pic of him and his singer girlfriend Jordin Sparks getting ready for their Halloween night out to his Twitter account over the weekend. Steph was dressed a “woman with a bad weave” and Jordin was “killer Dorothy.”

LaToya Jackson says her nieces and nephews are taking their father Michael Jackson’s death pretty hard; so hard that the three of them are going through therapy to cope with their loss. She even mentioned how heartbroken Paris is because she’ll never be able to see her daddy perform live in person.

“Paris thinks and talks about her father all the time. She’s doing very well, writes a lot and she wears his shirts every day. They still smell of him and it helps her feel close to him. Her bedroom is covered in posters of Michael and she watches tapes of him all the time. After he passed, the kids went up to the house to get whatever they wanted. Paris took anything with a picture of her father on and brought it back to her new room at my mother’s house. She was so upset that she would never see her father on stage. She said, ‘Now I’ll never get the chance to see Daddy perform live.’

Singer Kelly Rowland and French DJ David Guetta attended and performed at the 2009 MOBO Awards Wednesday (Sep 30) in Glasgow, Scotland. Other celebs on the red carpet of the show were Keri Hilson, Alexandra Burke, Jermaine Jackson and more.

In related news, Kelly is demanding an apology from the MOBO Awards after her and David’s performance of “When Love Takes Over” was briefly disrupted due to some technical difficulties with the sound.

Just seconds into a rendition of her current duet with David Guetta, “When Love Takes Over,” at the awards honoring Music of Black Origin, Rowland encountered some technical difficulties with her sound and did what any seasoned pro would do: She stopped singing and stood there looking confused. Granted, her gormless expression lasted just a few seconds—during which time her background dancers can be seen furiously motioning offstage—before resuming the tune, but the same can’t be said for her anger.

Nearly three months after his surprising death, Michael Jackson was finally laid to rest Thursday evening (Sep 3) in an intimate ceremony only attended by close family and friends at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, located in the Glendale district of Los Angeles. According to reports, guests were told the ceremony would start promptly at 7 P.M. (sunset) but the Jackson family left them waiting for about an hour until they showed up a little after 8 P.M. (PT). Jackson’s brothers, Randy, Marlon, Tito, Jackie and Jermaine, wheeled his gold casket to the front of the service once they arrived, and his three children, Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael Jr., placed a gold crown on top of the flowers adorning it. They also wrote letters to their father that were placed inside of his casket, alongside one of his signature white gloves.

Celebrities among the attending guests were, of course, the Jackson family, Chris Tucker, Elizabeth Taylor, Quincy Jones, Berry Gordy, Macaulay Culkin, Rev. Al Sharpton, MJ’s ex wife Lisa Marie Presley and Gladys Knight, who sang a gospel song after a prayer by Pastor Lucius Smith. Clifton Davis also performed “Never Can Say Goodbye,” the popular song he wrote for the Jackson 5. After the ceremony was over, MJ’s brothers carried his casket to the Grand Mausoleum, where Michael Jackson entered his final resting place.

After the service, the family ate dinner at an Italian restaurant in Pasadena, CA.

Meghan McCain (Sen. John McCain’s daughter), Victoria Beckham (aka “Posh Spice”) and comedienne Kathy Griffin are also set to guest co-host sometime in September.

It was also announced that Kate Gosselin from TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ will co-host on the show on September 14th and 15th.

Melanie Brown and her husband Stephen Belafonte were spotted on their way out of Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, along with LaToya Jackson, Melody Thornton of the Pussycat Dolls and actress Lark Voorhies, best known for her role as Lisa from 90’s sitcom “Saved By The Bell.”
