Beyonce and Jay-Z have released a joint statement officially confirming that Beyonce gave birth to a healthy baby girl named “Blue Ivy Carter” on Saturday (Jan 7), as we reported early Sunday morning.
“We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012,” the joint statement reads.
A group of Christian students from the University of Florida have re-worked Nicki Minaj‘s hit single “Super Bass” into a Christian anthem called “Super Grace,” featuring singing, dancing, rapping and a bright blue Nicki Minaj-inspired wig.
The song, written by UF singer Raychel Manko, is supposed to be an ode to “the Christian girl’s struggle to appreciate the wonderful Christian men in her life,” and won first place at a Christian Greek event hosted by the college.

According to published reports, 30-year-old Beezow Doo-Doo Zopittybob-Bop-Bop‘s charges include carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and a violation probation.
Court records state that Zopittybob-Bop-Bop was born Jeffrey Drew Wilschkue, but he legally changed his name to Beezow Doo-Doo Zoopittybop-Bop-Bop in October.
Zopittybop-Bop-Bop was arrested at a local park back in April 2011 (when he was still Jeffrey Wilschkue) after neighbors complained of “excessive drinking and drug use.”
Police say when they took him into custody, they found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a knife and a loaded handgun, among other items, in his backpack.
On his way to jail, Zopittybop-Bop-Bop allegedly told cops that he would eventually “get even with them.”
When he’s not getting into trouble with the law, Beezow Doo-Doo Zoopittybop-Bop-Bop enjoys activities such as “eating,” “standing,” “walking,” “thinking,” and “diamond,” according to his (unconfirmed) Facebook page, which also lists that he is “single.”
