MTV “POOL PARTY” IN NYC
FRIDAY, JULY 27TH 2007 » Now, I looked through all of these damn photos, and I didn’t see “nan” (look it up) pool! Anyhow, folks like Swizz Beatz, Ja Rule, Erik Sermon and more showed up for a weekend party titled “The MTV Pool Party” at the HYT ME Estate in Water Mill, New York. SATURDAY, JULY 28TH 2007 » Charm School runner-up Leilene was recently spotted in Hollywood on the set of a new movie titled ”Hotel California.” Dayummmmmmm! Homegirl must have made some good paper back in the day when she was strippin to put food on the table for her chillun! Oh yeah, Tyson Beckford’s fruity ass was there (on the set I mean) too. Anyhow, in addition to Tyson and Leiline, the movie also stars Tatyana Ali and Erik Palladino. It’s set to be released sometime next year. CLICK HERE for more info.

SUNDAY, JULY 29TH 2007 » Seattle native and 27-time Grammy Award winner Quincy Jones received the Grammy Foundation’s Leadership Award July 28 in Los Angeles in recognition of his lifetime commitment to social, cultural, economic and educational issues. The “Starry Nights” fund-raiser featured performances from Gloria Estefan, Patti LaBelle, Anthony Hamilton and John Legend.
