Court papers obtained by PEOPLE are showing that Grammy-winning R&B singer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and his ex, Tracey Edmonds, have officially finalized their divorce. Tracey and Babyface had been married for 13 years. They will have joint custody of their two sons, Brandon (10) and Dylan (6) according to a Superior Court final judgment filed Friday and released on Monday. The other terms of the divorce settlement were sealed by the court. The pair announced in October 2005 that they were ending their marriage. Three months later, Tracey filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple have produced movies and television shows together, including Soul Food and BET’s College Hill. They said they planned to continue working together on business ventures.
Divorces can be pretty messy, and I’m glad Tracey and Babyface handled this like the responsible adults they are. They did it Russy-Kimora style! Haha. It’s cool that they’ll still work together on a professional level, especially for the kids.
