#8 – Carmelita Jeter: She Got It Like That
The Jamaican men may have dominated in the sprints, but that wasn’t the case with the womens’ events. The American women smoked the Jamaican team in the 4×100 relay, with the most impressive leg being run by Amazon queen Carmelita Jeter.
The 32-year-old athlete left everyone in her dust as she zoomed to the finish line with baton in hand, sealing the gold medal for the U.S. and breaking a new world record. Can she play the black Wonder Woman please?
It also didn’t hurt that Carmelita had cake for days and a body like whoa. She be killin’ em.
