#6 – Usain Bolt: Nothing Can Stop the Bolt

Usain Bolt is so fast that he could probably run his events backwards with both eyes closed and still best his opponents in his sleep. His speed on the track defies all laws of gravity and physics. His Olympic gold victory in the 200m sprint at the Olympics this year puts him in the same category as Carl Lewis, making him one of the few Olympians to take home the gold in both the 100m and 200m sprints in two consecutive Olympics.

But Bolt’s not so fond of Mr. Lewis these days, since the track and field legend lobbed accusations that Jamaica’s drug testing isn’t up to snuff, which many took as an implication that some of the country’s best runners are doping.

Bolt, understandably, did not take well to the aspersions cast on his proud nation, so he has now put Mr. Lewis on his “do not like” list and he vented his frustrations with Lewis to the media.

“I’m going to say something controversial right now. Carl Lewis, I have no respect for him,” Bolt said. “The things he says about the track athletes is really downgrading for another athlete to say something like that. I think he’s just looking for attention, really, because nobody really talks much about him.”

When it comes to his skills, pride and country, don’t test he none.
