Lil Wayne was in the house Tuesday night (Jun 12) at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City as the Thunder played against his favorite basketball team  — the Miami Heat — in Game 1 of the 2012 NBA Finals.

But the rapper (and avid sports fan) says he didn’t get the celebrity treatment he expected. In fact, despite his VIP courtside seats, Weezy says he was “treated like sh!t” by OKC arena staff.

As Weezy indicated in his tweet, this isn’t the first time the rapper has had problems with OKC staff at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

On May 31st, when OKC played the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals, Lil Wayne was denied entry into the arena because not only did he not have a ticket, but he refused to buy anything less than courtside seats, which were completely sold out.

So instead of settling for a regular ticket, the rapper left the arena and slammed the team via his Twitter account later that night, tweeting: “Was going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow. Smh. Go Spurs!”

After being “treated like sh*t” for the second time at OKC’s arena, Wayne says he wants the Heat to blow the Thunder away — which, so far, hasn’t happened yet, with Heat losing Game 1 Tuesday night.

Game 2 goes down Thursday night (Jun 14) at OKC, and we have a feeling Weezy will be back to root for his home team even harder.
