Rosie O’Donnell is back!
The former talk show host will be making her way back to daytime TV sometime in the very near future…and guess who’s to thank for the all of a sudden comeback? Oprah Winfrey! The two announced yesterday (Fri. Aug 6) that O’Donnell will be hosting a one-hour daily talk show on The Oprah Winfrey Network beginning in 2011.
According to Oprah, Rosie is a true original who brings something different to the table.
“Rosie is an undeniable talent who has captivated TV audiences for nearly 20 years. She’s a true original, who brings her authentic voice, dynamic energy and pure passion to everything she does.”
Rosie also spoke on the news and seemed quite thrilled to be back to what she does best.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to work with Oprah Winfrey on her network. I’m excited to be back on daytime television.”
Congrats Rosie…. Let the controversy begin!
