Our smooth talking President sat down with “60 Minutes” Sunday night (May 8) to discuss the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden. In the interview, President Obama discussed how he and the CIA prepared for the mission, how risky the whole operation was, why pictures of the terrorist leader won’t be released and how the mission was the “longest 40 minutes of [his] life.”
“Justice was done,” President Barack Obama said in the interview with Steve Kroft. “As nervous as I was about this whole process, the one thing I didn’t lose sleep over was the possibility of taking bin Laden out. It was the longest 40 minutes of my life, with the possible exception of when Sasha got meningitis.”
