The Young Money rapper was picked to perform at a bar mitzvah for an NBC executive’s son this weekend, but only because Kanye’s asking fee of $1 million was VERY steep.
Former NBC President/CEO Jeff Zucker hosted a bar mitzvah for his son Andrew Saturday night (May 7) at the ultra-exclusive Four Seasons hotel in Manhattan. According to the NY Post, Kanye was the Zucker family’s first pick for entertainment, but his $1,00,000 asking price was way too expensive for the party.
So the Zuckers decided to go for a much cheaper option, which just so happened to be Hip-Hop newcomer Drake, who ironically, is Jewish himself!
The whole she-bang, including Drake’s performance, food and wines, cost over $250,000.
