As the world was mourning Whitney Houston‘s unexpected death last night came false reports that incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie had died after being stabbed in prison. The rumors started on popular social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and spread from there.
Bobbi Kristina Brown — Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown‘s 18-year-old daughter — was reportedly rushed to the hospital late last night after having a “complete breakdown,” a source confirmed with People Magazine this morning.
R&B icon Whitney Houston died this afternoon, reps for the singer have confirmed to multiple media outlets today. She was 48 years old.
The government officially released Steve Jobs‘ 191-page FBI file Thursday, detailing a number of things we’ve never known about the late Apple founder, including a background investigation that was conducted when Jobs was being considered for a position at the White House in 1991,.
The lengthy file also includes records of a 1985 bomb threat against him, and several interviews with various colleagues and friends of Jobs, both former and present.
One interviewee recalled Jobs’ well-known drug use, which included the use of marijuana and LSD, something Jobs himself has admitted to in the past.
Other unnamed interviewees talked about how Jobs couldn’t be trusted, and was known to “distort reality” and “twist the truth” to get his way. One person even said that they had “questions concerning his ethics and his morality.”
The file also included another very interesting piece of information. His high school GPA was a mere 2.65. (Wow!)
From the FBI file’s memo summarizing the 1991 background investigation:
Several individuals questioned Mr. Jobs’ honesty stating that Mr. Jobs will twist the truth and distort reality in order to achieve his goals. They also commented that, in the past, Mr. Jobs was not supportive of [redacted] (the mother of his child born out of wedlock) and their daughter; however, recently has become supportive.
[Name withheld] advised that he has been acquainted with Mr. Jobs since [redacted]. He characterized Mr. Jobs as a deceptive individual who is not completely forthright and honest.
[Name withheld] advised that he is no longer friends with Mr. Jobs. He feels bitter toward and alienated by Mr. Jobs based on his association with Mr. Jobs at ACI. He characterized Mr. Jobs as an honest and trustworthy individual; however, his moral character is questionable.
They further stated that Mr. Jobs has integrity as long as he gets his way.
Also, the AP confirmed with the Commerce Department that Jobs did get the job at the White House during the first Bush administration … just in case you were wondering.
