Could you believe that Tiger Woods once dated country music singer LeAnn Rimes? Well according to the latest edition of US Weekly, Woods and Rimes went out a few times before Rimes settled down with her soon-to-be ex-husband Dean Sherement, and before Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren got married.
“They hooked up and everything,” the source tells Us. “Tiger was really into her. He likes those blondes!” Alas, Rimes’ dad protested because he thought his teen daughter was too young to date the famed golfer, seven years her senior. “Then her dad almost had a heart attack,” the source adds. “And he made her stop seeing Tiger.”
What’s funny about all of this is that both Tiger and LeAnn had affairs within their marriage. Tiger “Cheetah” Woods apologized to wife Elin for his many mistresses and flings. And Rimes had an onset love affair with actor Eddie Cibrian while shooting the 2009 lifetime movie “Northern Lights.” Rimes divorced her then husband and now, one year later, she and Cibrian are still together.
