The Boston Celtics won at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the last game of the series (4-3) between both teams. The Celtics won by 5 (97-92). Paul Pierce totaled 41 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Kevin Garnett scored 13 points and 13 rebounds. Rajon Rondo scored 8 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. I must say I am disappointed about the Cavs loss. I really wanted to see LeBron progress within the playoffs. Garnett said at the end of Game 7:
“Today it was basically get the ball to Paul Pierce and get the hell out of the way,”
LeBron James scored and made history despite the loss. He scored 45 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Delonte West totaled 15 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds.
