Baseball player Matt Kemp was recently asked about his “relationship” with pop singer Rihanna and gladly confirmed that she’s his boo: “Yeah! That’s my girl!” The usually private Los Angeles Dodger fessed up about his new love Monday at the State Farm DDF Bowling Extravaganza at Lucky Strike Lanes in Los Angeles.

The baseball star gushed to Us of the singer, “She’s just a fun person. I love to be around her.” Right now, the pair have to contend with long-distance love: Rihanna, 22, is currently on her world tour. “She’s definitely not gonna be here for a little while. Hopefully when she gets back she’ll at a couple [more] games,” Kemp told Us Magazine. (She was spotted cheering him on at an April 14 game.) Kemp added: “She’s definitely a great person in my life, and I’m happy I’m with her.”
