As we previously reported, earlier this week, R. Kelly stopped by WGCI radio in his hometown of Chicago and revealed details regarding his upcoming album “Black Panties.”
But Kellz also talked about young R&B singers Trey Songz and Chris Brown, and how the two of them are following in his footsteps.
Ne-Yo rubbed shoulders with supermodel Selita Ebanks and tennis phenom Serena Williams at The Compound Foundation’s 2011 Annual Benefit in New York City this past Wednesday night (Sep 14).
Ne-Yo’s mom Lorraine Smith and singer Corrine Bailey Rae were also at the event, which was held to raise awareness and funds for the non-profit founded by the R&B singer.

Pop singer Lady Gaga teamed up with music legend Tony Bennett to record their own version of the 1937 show tune by Rodger and Hart “The Lady is a Tramp.”
The song is set to appear on Bennet’s upcoming “Duets II” album, which also features a final recording from late singer Amy Winehouse, along with additional features from Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Queen Latifah, Carrie Underwood, John Mayer, Faith Hill and others.

When news broke that Beyonce was pregnant with her first child … we had a feeling people would bring up that nasty old rumor about Jay-Z already having a son with a video vixen from Trinidad.
And it looks like they have.
According to the rumor mill, the Hip-hop mogul fathered a “secret” son with a Trinidadian model named Shenelle nearly 10 years ago. And recently, a 67-year-old man named Jerald Andrews (Shanelle’s ex-boyfriend Malik‘s father), reached out to a tabloid confirming that Jay-Z is the father of his “grandson,” even going as far as to say they had DNA tests to prove it.
Thanks to the millions and millions of dollars he’s made from his films, plays, TV shows, and of course Madea, Tyler Perry has landed at the very top of Forbes’ list of the highest paid men in Hollywood!
After raking in $130 million dollars over the past year (from May 2010 – May 2011), Perry now joins an elite club of Hollywood heavyweights, like Leonard DiCaprio, Elton John, Steven Spielberg, Tiger Woods, Simon Cowell and others, who make around $100 million or more annually.

The Pied Piper of R&B R. Kelly is ready to put the “R” back in R&B with news that he’s working on his 11th album, titled “Black Panties,” which he likens to his 1993 album “12 Play.”
“I just did the whole Love Letter joint and everybody thinking, ‘Oh that’s the direction he’s goin’ now,’ ” Kelly said in a recent interview with 107.5 WGCI’s Morning Riot radio show in Chicago. “Nah, that was a moment in time, just like ‘Ignition’ and ‘Bump n’ Grind’ and all this stuff was a moment in time. Now this Black Panties album … it’s the new 12 Play.”
50 Cent and Omarion laughed up a storm at the launch party for 50’s new “Street King” energy shot drink at the Hudson Hotel Library Bar in New York City Wednesday night (Sep 14).

Kim Kardashian and her sisters were complete no-shows at Kris Humphries‘ sister’s big runway debut Tuesday (Sep 13), leaving “three empty seats” in the front row of the Richie Rich fashion show.
Kim’s sister-in-law Kaela was set to walk the runway at at designer Richie Rich’s fashion show, and invited Kim, Kourtney and Khloe to watch. Kris made it, and even daddy Humphries was able to make it … but the Kardashian family was nowhere to be seen. (Even though Kris went to Kylie’s big runway debut at Avril Lavigne’s fashion show the night before!)
“Kim and her sisters were supposed to come and sit front-row [at Richie Rich],” a spy told the NY Post’s Page Six, “but there were three empty seats.” They added that they saw the NBA star on his cellphone, presumably to reach Kim. “He’s always there to support her family,” said the spy, “and she wasn’t there for his.”
Of course Kim was able to make it to Vera Wang’s show…
Ouch.
Beyonce was spotted with her sister Solange in the front row of the Vera Wang Spring 2012 Fashion Show, held Tuesday (Sep 13) during New York Fashion Week.
A couple seats down from the Knowles sisters were Kim Kardashian, Lala Vazquez and Rachel Roy. Tennis champ Serena Williams was also spotted in the building.

Earlier this week, a news anchor from a local FOX station in Philadelphia proceeded to make fun of the Kardashian sisters (minus Khloe, who wasn’t there) right after an interview with them! Funny stuff.

After weeks of a back-and-forth battle between T.I.‘s legal team and the FBI, the Atlanta rapper was been sprung from federal prison in Atlanta Thursday (Sep 15), and is now being housed in a local halfway house to serve out the remaining portion of his 11-month sentence. Hopefully … this time around T.I. used a small van (or something just as, if not more, modest) to transport him from Point A to Point B.
