Kanye West Doesn’t Let Taylor Swift Finish
Oh, what a night. At the 2009 VMAs, Kanye West turned himself into public enemy number 1 when he stomped on the stage and snatched the mic away from Taylor Swift as she attempted to finish her acceptance speech for Best Female Video.
While Kanye WAS right (“Single Ladies” was, by far, a way better video than Taylor’s), he would’ve personally been better off keeping his opinion to himself.
But thankfully, for our entertainment, he didn’t and we got the most epic mic snatch in human history. The drama that unfolded throughout the rest of that night because of that one moment was unforgettable.
And it could’ve only happened at the VMAs.
