TMZ has obtained the 911 call Usher made back in September when that crazy lady he decided to marry and have two kids with keyed his car. The R&B singer kept it cool as he explained what happened and even recalled of an incident with his ex-wife Tameka the night before, insinuating that beyond a shadow of a doubt she was indeed the culprit.
After completing an investigation, cops were unable to charge Tameka with anything because there wasn’t enough evidence available to make an arrest. Click here for more that.
And here it is people. The baby mama drama that always goes along with a very nasty and a very public divorce settlement! TMZ is reporting that Usher and his soon-to-be ex wife Tameka Foster-Raymond recently got into an argument regarding the custody of their two young sons, Usher V and Naviyd and Usher reportedly called the cops after she vandalized his truck the next day.
According to the reports, Usher told the Johns Creek Police Department that on Sept. 10, he had a “verbal argument” with Tameka over the phone regarding weekend custody of their children. Usher told cops that after the argument, he dropped his kids off at his mother’s house — but when he drove back to his home, Tameka showed up “demanding to take the kids.” Usher claims Tameka eventually left and he drove back to his mother’s house — but when Usher got there, Tameka showed up and began “knocking on the door” and making several phone calls to the residence. Usher claims he and his mom ignored Tameka — and eventually called police. When cops arrived, Tameka was nowhere to be found.
The next day, Usher called police again after he noticed several scratches on his truck — Usher told cops he believed Tameka vandalized the car in retaliation for their fight just hours before. In the police report, the responding officers who checked out the scratched car claim they found no evidence to support Usher’s accusation. The cops even reviewed the entrance log to Usher’s private neighborhood … but there was no record of Tameka ever getting into the area where the alleged crime would have taken place.
Usher recently opened up about his divorce to Tameka Foster in his new single “Papers” but it seem that he might be the one that’s holding up the divorce. Though they have been separated for a while now, divorce papers have yet to be signed by Usher while Tameka waits, ready to move on.
Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster’s divorce has been finalized according to BV Buzz, which explains that smile you often see Usher with now. A smile that most likely won’t be going away for a while!
BV Buzz has learned that the 30-year-old singer’s divorce from his wife, Tameka Foster, has been finalized and an agreement was reached in a pre-court settlement. The camps aren’t talking now – likely preparing to give an exclusive to a media outlet like People magazine – but I hear an official announcement should drop soon. A rep for the singer did not answer a detailed request for comment.
Foster’s publicist refuses to issue any statements to BV Buzz.
“In the future, please don’t bother us again for direct quotes or responses from Tameka,” a one-named flack identified only as Melody e-mailed last week.
Usher is in Paris celebrating the end of the two-year marriage.
Here are a few recent pictures of Usher enjoying the single life on La Voile Rouge beach in St. Tropez, France last Saturday (Aug 22). He was spotted in the club with Snoop Dogg later that night.
Someone call Arianna Huffington! Does she know that Tameka Raymond (or Margeaux depending on what time of day it is) is a swagger jacker? A thief? A biter? A man? Okay, that last one was unnecessary but you know we had to go there.
Situation: What would you do if you wrote a book that was over 96 pages long and before it hit shelves, you spent many sleepless nights hunched over a keyboard typing your thoughts down only for it to be paraphrased into a blog post 2 years later by an old washed up soon to be ex-wife of an R&B star? Just ask Aisha Curry, the author of “She’s Pretty for a Black Girl.” Notice how the title of Maneka’s blog entry and Curry’s author are strikingly similar?
“My heart sank into my stomach. All the hard work, all the sleepless nights I had endured was playing back in my head as I read this article written by a woman I didn’t even know,” Curry told BV Buzz. “Why did I feel so connected to this article? Suddenly, it came to me. It was my work! It was my work, my voice, but in her words. I was frozen. Tears began rolling down my face as I read line after line after line. I couldn’t believe it. The idea that someone could gain notoriety from an issue that I first brought to the forefront is mindboggling. People were praising her for tackling an issue that had never been exposed. Hello?!? I wrote the book on it and started it years ago. The only difference between her article and my book is she used ‘dark-skinned’ and I used ‘Black.’”
Curry said she began writing ‘Pretty For a Black Girl’ in 2007 after receiving compliments about her beauty, only to have them followed up with a reference to her ethnicity.
“One day about five years ago, I was absolutely tired of being told that I was pretty for a black girl,” she explained. “I started asking my friends if they had heard this statement before, and as time went on, I realized how prevalent the issue was.”
This divorce between Usher and his soon-to-be ex-wife Tameka Foster just seems to get messier and messier. A new report from The National Enquier (insert obligatory side-eye here) says that Usher wants a paternity test done on his 6-month-old son Naviyd. Why? Because around the time the baby was conceived, Usher and Tameka were have very little to no sex.
“The first thing Usher said was, ‘How did this happen?’ – because he was gone a lot, and their sex life was very, very limited,” a friend of Usher said. “People have been telling him that around the time the little boy was conceived, Tameka got together with another man.”
Sports and entertainment family lawyer Randy Kessler is representing Tameka Foster Raymond, whom Usher filed for divorce from Friday (Jun 12) in Atlanta. Kessler and his client have yet to legally respond to the public filing, but he did report to various media outlets saying that Foster Raymond was a “great mom” and a “loyal wife,” all the while declining to comment on Usher’s conduct during the marriage.
“She’s a great mom,” Randy Kessler said. “She’s been a loyal wife. She’s trying her best to take the high road and not attack him.”
Kessler also represented rapper Mack 10 in his divorce from R&B singer T-Boz of TLC fame and opposed rapper T.I. and boxer Evander Holyfield in child-support cases, so he definitely knows his way around a courtroom, especially when it comes to domestic disputes.
So it’s official … Usher and Tameka are over! Recently confirmed reports state that the R&B singer filed for divorce Friday (Jun 12) to begin the process of ending his two-year marriage to Tameka Foster. The petition, which was filed at Superior Court in Atlanta, did not list a reason for the split but insiders close to couple say they are not surprised.
“No one I’ve spoken to is surprised,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. “As bad as this is gonna sound, it was never a matter of ‘I wonder if they’ll divorce,’ but more like ‘I wonder WHEN they’ll divorce.’”
Several sources paint a picture of a troubled marriage that started unraveling even before the couple’s wedding in September 2007.
After spending 11 days in intensive care following a plastic surgery procedure that went wrong, Usher’s wife Tameka Raymond was released from a Sao Paulo hospital in Brazil.
According to the Associated Press, a spokeswoman confirmed that Tameka was released on Monday (February 16), but declined to provide any details regarding her treatment. Usher’s camp did not comment at press time. Since being rushed to the hospital during Grammy weekend, it’s been revealed that she had flown to Brazil to undergo a “simple liposuction,” but went into cardiac arrest while being anesthetized. Tameka was placed in an induced coma for 24 hours to stabilize her, while Usher waited by her bedside during recovery.
Usher was scheduled to perform at a pre-Grammy party for Clive Davis, but canceled due to the family emergency. When the news first broke, Usher, through his rep, released this statement: “Tameka Raymond is in stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery in Brazil. Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital.” The rep also added that the couple do not plan to release any further details and asks for their privacy.
Usher’s wife, Tameka Raymond, underwent what reps are calling “routine surgery” in Brazil over the weekend and Usher had to leave the country to rush to be by her side Sunday night right before the Grammys due to an emergency concerning the operation. Rumors began to swirl across the internet saying that the R&B singer’s wife had died, but fortunately, those rumors were immediately denounced by Usher’s people. As far as the rumors of her undergoing some kind of “cosmetic surgery,” No one has spoken up about that yet.
“Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital,” the rep added. “No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time.” On Saturday night, Usher (full name: Usher Raymond) canceled his performance at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy Gala. Davis told partygoers the singer had to bow out due to a “serious injury in the family.”
On Sunday, Davis, CEO of Sony Music Worldwide, told PEOPLE. “I talked to his mom [Jonetta Patton]. My thoughts are with them, whatever they’re facing.” The couple, married since August 2007, have two children.
Married couple Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster celebrated the New Year with a big party at The Bank in Las Vegas, NV. My only question is … who was at home with the newborn baby? Little Naviyd isn’t even a month old yet, and mommy and daddy are already out partying… More pics when you continue reading.
