Disabled Man Riding Mobility Scooter Survives Being Hit by Train Going 100 MPH!
43-year-old Tony Winskill of Kelvedon, Essex, UK must be thanking his lucky stars.
Winskill, who is disabled, was hit by a high speed commuter train train going 100mph when he drove his mobility scooter onto the level crossing. The only injuries he sustained were a few minor cuts and bruises after being thrown from his scooter.
“He was left with severe leg injuries when he was run over by a car in 2000 and that is what left him disabled. I can’t believe he has escaped without getting badly injured – but what worries me is that even minor injuries could be really serious for him. He has had a few near misses in the past driving round in his scooter, but this is the most serious one by far,” his 19 year old son Warren said.

Former “Hills” star Kristin Cavallari’s engagement to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has reportedly been called off.
“She got dumped. She’s absolutely devastated. She can’t believe this is happening. She was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location — everything was set. She’s in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way,” a source told PEOPLE.
During a recent outing at the Beverly, an L.A. nightclub, an eyewitness spotted Cavallari with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio. “She was hanging out at a table with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio. She was telling friends how they called off the engagement,” they said.
E! News reports that the couple had been disagreeing over some issues recently, particularly how Cavallari would balance her career while living in Chicago with Cutler during the football season. “Jay got cold feet,” a source tells the website. “Kristin is stunned.”
No formal comment has been given by the couple’s reps yet.
Kelly Rowland Going on Tour with Chris Brown?
According to reports, “Motivation” singer Kelly Rowland, whose new album “Here I Am” was released today, will be hitting the tour circuit with Chris Brown as his supporting act.
In a recent interview with ELLE TV Rowland admitted that she has Chris’ “Beautiful People” song on heavy rotation. “The song I have on repeat right now would probably have to be Chris Brown’s ‘Beautiful People.’ It’s such an amazing record. As soon as I hear it, I can’t stop moving. And I smile so big and it’s great when music makes you do that.”
Being coy about dates and the acts that are confirmed to join him on his tour, Chris Brown teased and tweeted “it’s about to be crazzzyyy!” However he did assure his fans that the tour would be “affordable for everybody.”
Both Chris and Kelly got the chance to hang out during their mutual friend Lonny Bereal’s video for his single “Favor,” which features Ms. Kelly.

Amy Winehouse “Died Alone in Bed” + Autopsy Fails to Reveal Cause of Death
Saturday, July 23rd was a sad day for the music world as it was announced that troubled icon Amy Winehouse had passed away.
Due to the star’s difficult past involving drugs and alcohol, reports surfaced all over the world that she had died of an overdose. However, it has emerged that the “Rehab” singer’s cause of death is unknown after an autopsy was conducted on Monday.
According to the Metropolitan Police, no cause of death for Amy Winehouse has been established yet, and further toxicology tests will be needed to determine how she died. The results aren’t expected to come back for another 2 – 4 weeks.
Speaking with MTV News on Monday Winehouse’s rep Chris Goodman gave details of the singer’s sudden passing. He said, “She was in her bedroom after saying she wanted to sleep, and when he went to wake her he found she wasn’t breathing. He called the emergency services straight away. He was very shocked. At this stage no one knows how she died. She died alone in bed.”
A private funeral service for Amy Winehouse was held today in London.

Dad Shoots Up His Kid’s Birthday Party, Killing His Estranged Wife and In-Laws … then Himself
What started out as a celebration ended in tragedy after a father opened fire at a roller skating rink Texas during a birthday party for one of his children, killing his estranged wife and four of her family members before killing himself.
Tan Do, 35, and Trini Do, 29, were hosting the party at the Roller World Skating Rink in the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie, Texas, on Saturday for one of their two children, Grand Prairie police said in a statement.
“The couple had been involved in ongoing marital problems and it is believed that this led to the shooting,” police said. “Trini Do was among the deceased.”Police responded to a call of a shooting at 7:10 p.m. Saturday (8:10 p.m. ET). Officers found the bodies of five people; a sixth person — the suspect — with a gunshot wound to the head; and four other people who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Others who were killed included Trini Do’s sisters, Lynn Ta, 16, and Michelle Ta, 28; her brother, Hien Ta, 21; and her sister-in-law, Thuy Nguyen, 25. “It appears the suspect targeted his estranged wife and her family members,” police said.
The couple’s two children were not harmed, and were in the care of other family members Sunday, authorities said.
Tan Do was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police.
About 30 people were attending the party at the time of the shooting, but the roller rink was not open to the public, police said. Employees of the rink were not injured. Witnesses were interviewed by police, and the police department’s crisis counselors and chaplain were working with the survivors, authorities said.

China is known for producing counterfeit Apple products, but now it appears as if they’re taking their duplication techniques a few steps further by completely ripping off Apple’s retail stores.
A 27-year-old American blogger living in an area of China called Kunming stumbled on what she later found out to be a “fake Apple store.”
The store, complete with the white Apple logo, their famous wooden tables and a group of happy staff members wearing blue shirts with Apple logos printed on them, looked very much like the more than 300 official stores strategically all over the world.
