I think Justin Timberlake is a talented performer. But he’s very ordinary-looking. He could be any skinny white kid from the suburbs of Orlando. You could go to the mall and find another Justin. He doesn’t make his style interesting even when he’s onstage. To me, he just doesn’t look like a star.
Well folks, after 2 weeks of incarceration, U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman released T.I. on bail to the tune of $3 million. But of course, there’s a small itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny little catch. The rapper, who faces multiple gun charges, must stay on house arrest, which shouldn’t be too bad, I guess…
A federal judge ordered rapper T.I. released on $3 million bond Friday, but he must remain in home confinement while he awaits trial on weapons charges. U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman said the singer must remain under house arrest at a home in Henry County. He wasn’t more specific about the location. T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris) will be monitored 24 hours a day by a private monitoring service that he must pay for.
He’s restricted to the home except under certain circumstances, including medical appointments and court appearances. He cannot own any firearms and cannot have contact with any witnesses or informants in the case. Noting that T.I has a team of highly qualified attorneys, the judge said: “You shouldn’t do anything that will undermine their ability to represent you.” Defense lawyer Ed Garland argued that based on the amount of money being put up, there’s no reason not to release his client. “Like You’ll Never See Me Again” is a tentative second single from Keys’ forthcoming LP, As I Am, which releases November 13th. I just knew I wasn’t going crazy, obviously there was a bit of “Purple Rain” influence in this song. It took me a couple of listens to get into this, which isn’t so bad, although I oh so hate LOVE when artists do Prince tributes, it usually does not do him any justice. Next to Britney Spears, of course, Prince is my toooop Entertainer that will ALWAYS be relevant (apparently) in music!

I did not want to post any leaked material before, like everyone else, because I was assured they were all incomplete for the simple fact they were not mastered. So I relapsed and was pleasantly surprised after hearing the retail. Britney fans can expect a host of new material added! 😉
Now, on the the album review! I heard a lot of stellar Dance-pop and Club variations — thanks to Danja (love his work), Bloodshy & Avant, Sean Garrett, and The Clutch! Although some of Sean’s arrangements are a tad bit questionable (he can not write for crap, I am sorry.) I have not many cons to rant on and on about … I will save that for Cassie’s album (KIDDING!). Overall Blackout is FUN and lively! I was nodding and shaking … thank God I do not dance in public! Ha ha, but forreal, the music ultimately moves you in the beginning, then it sort of culminates with Downbeat (that would only be a few songs – rest of the album goes HARD in the club!). In conclusion it all boils down to whether you are a true fan of the Pop superstar — would I recommend it as a solid buy? Of course … I am a Britney Spears fan! 🙂
Forgot to say my personal favorite tracks are “Get Naked (I Got A Plan),” “Freakshow,” “Hot As Ice” and “Perfect Lover”!

SYNOPSIS

SOMEBODY HELP ME delivers a chill a minute as the story revolves around characters Brendan Young (Marques Houston) and Darryl Jennings (Omarion) as they head off with friends and their respective girlfriends for a weekend stay at a remote cabin in the woods. After the couples settle in and start to enjoy the weekend, things take an eerie turn. On trips into the local town, they start to have strange encounters with some of the townspeople who seem a bit askew. One by one of group ends up missing or dead, while the dwindling group is forced to ban together more and more to figure out who or what is behind the killings. Ultimately, they discover even more than they bargain for in a chilling reveal.

Yolanda “La La” Brown, famous for adding her vocals to the hook of popular Lyfe Jennings song “S.E.X.,” was found dead, along with her producer/rumored boyfriend, JeTannue Clayborn, in a Milwaukee recording studio Friday night.
Milwaukee police say both were found in the Loud Enuff Productionz studio at 55th and Lisbon. Both had gunshot wounds and had been dead at least a day before being discovered. They were reportedly dating. JeTannue’s mother, Dina Chambers, describes him as energetic, with an eye toward making music his career. “He loved music. He loved people. He was very kind. They called him “Koo Laid” because every time you saw him, he was smiling,” Dina Chambers said. Steven Wright knew both of the victims and described them as always being happy. In 2001, she starred alongside her famous dad, Muhammad Ali and earlier this year she donned the famous white mustache alongside her fellow Dancing With the Stars finalists. Other celebrity superstars who have more recently appeared in the campaign include Mariska Hargitay, Beyonce Knowles and Sara Ramirez.
T.I. plead not guilty Friday and was once again denied bail and will remain in jail for at least one more week. One request from his team of lawyers was that the judge release the rapper on $2.2 million bond. The judge considered house arrest and that a person stay with him 24/7.
T.I.’s lawyers asked a federal judge Friday to release the rapper on $2.2 million bond and allow him to have monitored home confinement while he awaits trial on weapons charges. Defense attorney Ed Garland proposed putting a person in T.I.’s home 24 hours a day to monitor activities there. U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman said he will reserve his ruling on the singer’s bond request until Oct. 26, when T.I.’s lawyers are expected to present a home monitor who must be approved by the court, pretrial services officials and prosecutors.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, would also have to submit to electronic monitoring. Only those on a preapproved list of visitors would be able to enter the home. Harris would surrender his passport and his right to drive, and would submit to random searches of the home and random drug screening. Several record company executives, including some from Atlantic Records and Warner Music Group, were seated in the courtroom. Officials said they were prepared to offer signature bond on Harris’ behalf in excess of $1 million. Prosecutors countered that because of Harris’ criminal history and because he was arrested while allegedly trying to buy machine guns and silencers, he poses a flight risk and danger to the community.
Harris was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday on weapons charges, including possession of machine guns. His indictment followed his arrest last Saturday for allegedly possessing unregistered machine guns and silencers and of being a convicted felon in possession of firearms.
