Sonya Norwood Sues Kim Kardashian
Ray-J’s mom filed a lawsuit Monday against her almost daughter-in-law (lol) Kim Kardashian accusing her of running up more than $120,000 in credit card charges without permission, reports People. The suit, which also names Kardashian’s siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Robert Jr., alleges they ran up the charges on Ms. Norwood’s card in 2006 and 2007. Sonya wants the cash … and 10% interest. In a statement, the Kardashians, of course, denied the allegations:
“The charges against the Kardashians are meritless,” the statement said. “Both Kim and Khloe were employed by the Norwoods and never used their credit cards without their express authorization. The Kardashian family looks forward to proving the absurdity of these claims in a court of law.”
That damn Kimberly can’t stay out of trouble, can she?
Flavor Flav to Invade your TVs Again, Even After “Flavor of Love” Wraps…
Looks like Flavor Flav isn’t done being an “actor!” If you think that shit on VH1 is reality, then I have some swamp land near Paris Hilton’s malibu mansion to sell you. Anyway, MyNetworkTV has ordered 13 episodes of a new sitcom called “Under One Roof,” which stars William Drayton aka Flavor Flav, that will debut in Spring ’08. The series will feature Flav in the role of Calvester Hill, who is an ex-con who moves in with his wealthy, conservative brother Walter. Upon his arrival, Hill starts bringing his old prison buddies by the house, teaching his nephew how to be a gangster rapper, and clashing with Walter’s wife Ashley.
“I am real excited about my new sitcom Under one Roof,†Flav said in a statement announcing the deal. “I want to thank MyNetworkTV for believing in your boy because we are about to blow this out of the water. I am about to take MyNetworkTV and make it MY network.â€
Under One Roof is currently in production in Toronto. Does anyone else see the resemblance of “Fresh Prince,” which is currently in syndication on Nick-At-Nite? I mean, minus the ex-con bit … but still the same general idea.
Missy Elliott wants you to name her new album … for $500 and album credit
Missy Elliot is giving her fans the opportunity to name her upcoming album, due late spring 2008, via her official site, missy-elliot.com. The contest closes February 20th and the winner will be announced on March 2nd. The winner will receive credit on Missy’s album and a $500 “Respect Me” Adidas gift card.
$500? Shit, at least make it a G lol. I know “Misdemeanor” ain’t that broke! Well, I don’t know … she might be, seeing as she spends at least $1 million on every video she makes. I don’t know if that’s 100% true, but it’s something I heard a while back. Not totally unbelievable since all of her videos have a lot of special effects and ish… And her new video is in 3D, so yeah, it might be true lol.
And what’s with this “album credit?” Unless it’s going to be directly under the title on the front/back/side packaging, then that’s really no prize. Who actually looks in the album credits? No, better yet … who still cops CDs on the regular? Lol.
Pimp C’s Cause of Death Revealed
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has revealed that prescription cough syrum and sleep apnea contributed to the untimely death of UGK member Chad “Pimp C†Butler. Assistant chief coroner Ed Winter made it clear that the rapper did not overdose, but instead died from ingesting “Promethazine and Codeine,” which is frequently mixed with flavored candy and mixed to make a drink known as “sizzurp.†[ Anyone remember 8-Ball’s hit single “Sippin’ on some Sizzurp? ] Winter also stated Pimp C suffered from a condition known as sleep apnea, a common sleeping disorder that blocks the air passages during sleep, and causes people to temporarily stop breathing. The prescription cough syrup mixed addition to his sleep apnea, ended in Pimp C’s accidental death.
The Democratic Race between Obama and Clinton is Getting Tighter and Tighter

According to CNN, Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are only separated by less than 1% when it comes to the votes cast on Super Tuesday.
NEW YORK (CNN) — Just how sharply are Democrats divided between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton? Of all the votes cast on Super Tuesday for the two candidates nationwide, they are only separated by 0.4 of a percentage point. By midday Wednesday, 14,645,638 votes were reported cast for either Obama or Clinton on Tuesday. Clinton had won 7,350,238 of those votes (50.2 percent) while Obama captured 7,295,400 votes (49.8 percent).
Most precincts had reported 100 percent of their votes by Wednesday, though some districts had yet to complete their count. Many of those votes are in in New Mexico, where CNN has yet to declare a winner, and in California, where a sizeable number of absentee votes have yet to be tallied.

Whatever the case may be, the latest addition to Pharrell Williams’ StarTrack family is filming her very first music video for her single “Google Me, Baby” and you can check out some shots from behind the scenes on yesterday’s shoot below, and after the cut. The video appears to feature cameos from Jazze Pha, Polow da Don, Omarion, and … Raz B? What hole did he crawl out of, and who let him do it? Anyhow, be on the look-out for Teyana when her debut album “From the Planet of Harlem” drops this spring.
Super Tuesday: Obama Wins Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, and Utah; Clinton Wins Arizona and California
The race is getting tighter and tighter with results from “Super Tuesday” still flowing in. So far, Sen. Barack Obama has taken the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, and Utah, bringing his total win (for Super Tuesday) to 10. And Sen. Hillary Clinton has won the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, bringing her Super Tuesday total win to only 7. But results are still coming in, and technically, Hillary Clinton is still winning (overall in the race), since she has the most delegate votes. So far she has 825 del. votes, while Barack only has 732. Only time will tell who’ll have the most delegate votes after every state who participated in Super Tuesday reports 100%.

All of the polls are closed, and the results are swarming in with over 20 states reporting results from “Super Tuesday!” So far, Baracka Obama has won Georgia, Illinois, and Alabama, while Hillary Clinton has taken Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Tennessee. These are just the definite wins. Polls are just now closing on the west coast, so throughout the evening/morning, I’ll be posting results as they come in. CNN should keep you covered ’til then…

I’m so thrilled, much to everyone’s horrific disappointed, the New York Giants won Super Bowl XLII! What-what! EVERYONE knows (or should know) that THEY were truly the underdogs, so I’m surprised at how people claimed that the New England Patriots would win, but not really. Undefeated don’t mean shit!!!!! WESLEY SNIPES ACQUITTED OF TAX FRAUD, BUT MAY STILL SERVE TIME » Wesley Snipes was acquitted of tax fraud in a Florida courtroom on Friday, but was convicted of failure to file taxes. Snipes, who was convicted of three misdemeanor counts of failing to file a tax return on his income that amounted to millions of dollars. As he left the court room, he said: “I’m feeling great – a little confused, but great.” When asked if he is worried about going to prison, he replied, “I don’t know. It’s nice to be out here with you right now. We live in the moment.” He was acquitted of two felonies, including conspiracy to commit tax fraud. He was also acquitted of three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file a tax return. Snipes now faces up to three years in federal prison, which is a lot better than facing a possible 16-year prison sentence, had he been convicted of failure to file taxes.
And speaking of “failure to file taxes,” another celebrity might be in trouble! Word on the sidewalk is that Fat Joe might owe over $150,000 in back taxes to the IRS.
