Nas & Kelis Expecting First Child
While we wait on Beyonce & Jay-Z, Janet Jackson & Jermaine Dupri, and Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon to decide what they want to do as far as making babies and sh*t, I guess we can settle with news of Nas & Kelis expecting their first-born. And a couple tells US Weekly that, “they are so excited!”
Hip-hop star Nas and his wife, singer Kelis, are expecting their first child together, Us Weekly reported Wednesday (January 14). A source reportedly told Us that the “Milkshake” singer is in her first trimester. “It’s all they are talking about,” the source told the magazine. “She is carrying hip-hop royalty! They are so excited.” The source said mother-to-be Kelis already has a baby bump. Nas has a daughter, Destiny, from a previous relationship.
The couple wed in January 2005 after a two-year courtship. The New York natives were married in Atlanta, where they keep a home. Nas’ brother, Braveheart member Jungle, served as the best man. The pair raised eyebrows on the 2008 Grammy Awards red carpet. The rapper was in the midst of promoting his project, then titled N—er and later released as an untitled album, and his wife showed her support by wearing a jacket adorned with the racial epithet.
Nas said their personal life isn’t nearly as attention-grabbing. The two were set to appear in an MTV reality show about their life together, but the introverted rapper put the kibosh on the project before it could air. Nas cited privacy concerns, in addition to his marriage just being a normal relationship. He called their lives “boring” and said the only reality he was comfortable with was his music. At press time, representatives for Nas and Kelis had no comment about the reported pregnancy.

Dwyane Wade Gave his Wife an STD?
According to posts published by The Miami Herald, Miami Heat basketball star Dwyane Wade gave his wife of nearly 7 years a little more than what she asked for. Dwyane Wade and his high school sweetheart, Siohvaughn Wade, are in the process of getting a divorce, and according to legal papers, she claims that Dwyane gave her an unspecified STD, in addition to abandoning his children and comitting adultery, amongst other things.
Dwyane petitioned for the divorce last May in Cook County, Ill. They wed in Chicago on May 18, 2002. Dwyane’s Windy City attorney, James Pritikin, issued a statement: “These malicious allegations are absolutely false and we look forward to the opportunity to dispute them in court.” He and Siohvaughn, 27, have two boys, Zaire, a first-grader who will be 7 next month, and Zion, 1. Siohvaughn moved back to Chicago with the kids last year. Dwyane’s Heat salary is $14,410,581, according to published reports. He hauls in millions more from major endorsements such as Gatorade and Converse. He has a dozen vehicles, including four Cadillacs, four Mercedes-Benzes and a Maybach, court papers say.

Jennifer Hudson to Sing at Super Bowl XL III
Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson will make her first live appearance since the tragic shooting deaths of her mother, brother and nephew. She’s set to kick-off Super Bowl XL III with her own rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner.”
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is set to make her first public appearance since the killings of her mother, brother and nephew. She’ll deliver the national anthem at the Super Bowl in Tampa on Feb. 1, according to the NFL. Hudson hasn’t performed publicly since her mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, were slain in Chicago in October. Her estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, 27, has been charged in the killings. Hudson, who released her self-titled debut album in September, is also scheduled to sing at the Grammys’ MusiCares event in Los Angeles a few days after Super Bowl XL III. She is nominated for four awards at the Feb. 8 Grammy Awards.

Jamal Woolard has Court Date for Allegedly Assaulting Wife
Jamal “Gravy” Woolard may be on top of the world right now as far as his Notorious movie goes, but he’ll have to come back down to earth for a little while next Thursday to face misdemeanor charges of assault, menacing and harassment, according to BET News.
According to NYPD records, Woolard was arrested Sept. 14 he after a fight with his wife of seven months at the time, Trina Younger. Details of their scrap are sketchy but the New York Post reports Woolard slapped Younger during an argument sparked by him coming home late. The report says Younger dared Woolard to slap her – and he did.
“She wouldn’t stop pushing me, so I snuffed her,” the police report quotes Woolard. “I know he wouldn’t hit her,” said Roslyn Younger, the actor’s mother-in-law to E! Online. “He’s not like that. Most definitely, they have a good relationship. That’s impossible. I think it’s made up. He’s a loving husband, and I never heard of anything like that before in my life.”
Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Honsou Pregnant
Us Magazine is reporting that fashion diva Kimora Lee Simmons and actor Djimon Honsou are pregnant!
Kimora Lee Simmons and actor Djimon Hounsou are expecting their first child together, a source close to the couple tells Usmagazine.com. Simmons, 33, has two daughters, Ming Lee, 8, and Aoki Lee, 6, with hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, whom she divorced in 2008 after nearly 10 years of marriage.
“I have a lot of hang-ups in life with men. I’m not very trusting,” she told Harper’s Bazaar last year. “After my breakup, I thought, ‘I don’t need anything.'”
But after meeting Hounsou in February 2007, she said, “I have someone who has the heart, the soul, and the hotness.” Added Hounsou , “My first impression has always been the same, that she’s a very beautiful lady, very capable and intelligent and smart with great family values. She’s the least high-maintenance lady I’ve ever dated.”
Asked if she wanted more kids, Simmons told Us last September, “I would love to. I practice everyday.”

We why is he 23 years old? And was at the Wizards game with Mya looking very cozy and he and singer, Mario, (who once was best friends a month ago in atlanta, pics online with him, Terrence Howard, and Chosen Wilkins ) have beef now. Well, he dissed Mario in an interview and Mario’s manager J. Irving, is saying he is too arrogant and his record sales don’t sale enough to be like that.
