Usher, Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe stopped for a picture at the closing ceremony for Usher’s Camp New Look at the Alliance Theater at the Woodruff Arts Center Friday (Jul 24) in Atlanta. Alonzo Mourning also attended and spoke at the event, along with Usher, Boris and Nicole.

Usher’s New Look (UNL) is a non-profit organization spearheaded by the R&B singer himself. Per the official website, UNL is a youth empowerment organization that provides young people with “a new look on life through education and real-world experiences,” while building upon their interests in athletics, music and entertainment.

Omer Bhatti Denies Rumors: “Michael is not my father.”

Michael Jackson‘s alleged “love child” Omer Bhatti has denied the rumors circulating that Jackson is his father and also revealed why he was seated with Michael’s relatives at the memorial:

Omer, who lives in Norway, has revealed Jackson always used to say that he was like a son to him and he thinks that that must be the reason for all the rumours. Confiding in a close friend from Oslo, Omer said: “Michael is not my father. He and I were just very, very close. He was my best friend … Michael always used to say I was like a son to him,” he told the friend. “But my true parents are here in Norway. The reason I was asked to sit with his family at the memorial service is because I was Michael’s closest friend – not because I am his son.”

Omer moved to Neverland with Jackson in 1996 with his parents and lived there for eight years. They met in Tunisia and Michael was so taken by the boy that he moved both he and his parents to LA. Omer’s mother became nanny for his son Prince Michael while his father became his driver.

Friends and family of the 25-year-old dancer have said that the death of his “best friend” is taking a toll on him. A female friend revealed that he “[looks] pale and thin” and that the once lively and soulful boy has “never felt so down.”

New Feature Coming Soon: YouTube Friday

Starting this coming Friday, we’re going to be introducing a new feature on GOT that we’re calling YouTube Friday. Basically, we’re going to be searching through YouTube for talented aspiring artists/musicians that deserve to be signed but haven’t been noticed by a label. YouTube Friday will be a bi-weekly feature and we will be highlighting new acts every other weekend.

We came up with this after coming across so many that have much more talent than current artists that we hear on the radio and see on television every day, and we’re hoping that with some sort of attention from blogs, they will be recognized by someone in the industry. We will get some information on the artist(s) and ask them a few questions, which will all be posted on the site along with a couple of their videos.

And we’re also asking you guys for your help! If you are subscribed to or follow an artist or group on YouTube that you think everyone should hear about, let us know! We can already tell you that the first act we will be shining the spotlight on is a VERY talented group. Our homie FreddyO sent over these pics of Tiny and Toya celebrating the success of their BET reality series, “Tiny & Toya” Thursday night (Jul 23) at Club Pure in Atlanta. Their show comes on television Tuesday nights at 10 PM, and believe it or not it’s a pretty good watch. Diamond from Crime Mob also partied it up with the ladies and took a couple of pics with them.

Toya is featured on the cover of the upcoming issue and the video includes a snippet of the interview where she talks about how Wayne “proposed twice” even while he was dating Nivea, who is currently due to have his baby in a month or so. She even mentions how she and Nivea are still good, saying she’s a “sweet person” and the only girl she allows she and Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, to go around. Check out that clip after the cut!

Singer Rihanna turned it up a notch as she hit up the premiere of “Inglorious Basterds” at the Odeon Leicester Square Thursday (Jul 23) in London, England.

If you’ve been wondering why she decided to shave the side of her head, we just learned that it wasn’t for “fun” or to “make a statement.” In fact, her hairstylist Ursula Stephen revealed to S2S magazine that it was done for a photoshoot for the annual Black issue of Italian Vogue Magazine.

“It was really done for an Italian Vogue shoot,” she said during a phone interview. “It was crazy and I can’t wait until it comes out.”

Kelis Wins Big in Court! // Awarded Spousal AND Child Support from Nas!

Nas & Kelis A day after Nas and Kelis welcomed a baby boy into the world, a Los Angeles judge has ordered Nas to pay Kelis close to $40,000 a month in spousal and child support for the near future. Judge Louis Meisinger issued the order at a hearing Thursday (Jul 23), of which neither Kelis (full name: Kelis Rogers) nor Nas (full name: Nassir Jones) were in attendance.

Per the court order, Kelis will receive $30,471 in spousal support per month, while Knight, their son, will get $9,027 per month. A hearing on whether the payments should be changed will be held on September 8th. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Nas’ lawyer, proposed a one-time payment of $20,000 until a settlement could be made on appropriate spousal and child support at a later hearing, but the judge rejected that offer, saying that Nas needed to pay more to accommodate the lifestyle Kelis has grown accustomed to since marrying Nas back in July 2003.

Nas was also ordered to pay $45,000 to cover Kelis’ attorney fees and for a forensic accountant, in addition to paying for the new baby’s nurse, prenatal expenses, medical insurance, and for the mortgage on their L.A. home, of which Kelis has 30 days to decide whether or not she would like to return to.

Well damn … Kelis must be a very happy woman right now!

Bombshell: Michael Jackson Has a Fourth Child???

Michael Jackson‘s rumored fourth child Omer Bhatti is requesting a DNA test to find out whether or not he is truly the child of the late King of Pop. Omer, 25, was brought to attention after he sat in the front row of Jackson’s memorial service. Meanwhile, rumors stated that Jackson fathered Bhatti in 1984 after a one night stand. Reports also state that Omer’s mother is also the mother of Blanket, Jackson’s 7-year-old son.

MJ’s brother Jermaine Jackson states that if Omer is indeed his brother’s son, that he will be welcomed into the family:

“If Omer’s his son, he’s his son. We won’t deny it. We are going to give him the same amount of love and care that we give Prince and Paris and Blanket. I can’t clearly say if he is Michael’s but I saw this kid around him.”
