Chris Brown has one less thing to bitch about today. The AP reports that a Los Angeles judge has dismissed a hit-and-run driving charge previously leveled against the singer and angry Twitter user.

The judge noted that Breezy reached a “civil compromise” with the other driver, giving way for the misdemeanor charged to be dropped. I don’t know what “civil compromise” means exactly, but it sounds like cash was exchanged.

Chris didn’t actually appear at the court hearing either. I imagine he was at home preparing for Oprah and Deepak Chopra’s 21-day meditation challenge. Well, I wish that’s what he was doing.

Anywho, Chris had long claimed he did nothing wrong when his Range Rover struck the woman’s Mercedes in Toluca Lake back in May. Chris’ attorney, Mark Geragos, says that he only accidentally gave her the wrong insurance information although insurance did cover the $800 damage to her vehicle.

Naturally, city prosecutor Patrick Hiscocks objected to the dismissal, arguing that Brown was still on probation at the time of the crash for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. In other words, he wants that man in jail and doesn’t feel like fishing for another reason to send him there.

Fret not, Patrick. This is Chris Brown. You’ll more than likely have another chance before you know it.
