6. Britney Spears — “Gimme More”

Some might think it’s unfair to criticize this video given that it was filmed at the height of Britney’s mental breakdown. But eff that. Wack is wack, and “Gimme More” is one of the hottest songs in her catalogue.

Danja put in too much damn work to have his hypnotizing beats and that brand building catchphrase, “It’s Britney, bitch” wasted on the cheapest, most white trash video of Britney’s career.

They didn’t even have budget for Britney’s blonde wig. That joint was scooped up on the way to the shoot at Spencer’s or something. What a joke.

5. Kanye West — “Amazing”

808’s and Heartbreaks was a career-defining moment for Kanye as he branched out musically in ways that helped pave the way for other emo rappers like Drake.

But the “Amazing” video — like of most of Kanye’s videos these days — is a head-scratcher. Half of it is a love letter to National Geographic and the other half has Kanye and Jeezy shrouded in darkness as they rap by a campfire. Who the hell thought this was a good idea?

4. Jay-Z and Kanye West — “N**gas In Paris”

Two of the biggest names in hip-hop team up for the biggest hip-hop albums last year, which spawns the biggest hip-hop single in recent years, “N**gas In Paris.” And what do we get in return? A lazy, afterthought of a concert video.

No, the damn kaleidoscope effects don’t make up for it either. They just give us a headache. As does Kanye’s skirt.
