9. Christina Aguilera — “Not Myself Tonight”

Poor Christina Aguilera.

Lady Gaga‘s arrival rattled Christina in ways that Britney Spears never had. Sure, Britney’s always been more popular than Christina could ever hope to be, but at least Christina could always comfort herself with the fact that she was more talented than Britney ever could be.

The same didn’t apply to Gaga though. And so in an attempt to outdo Gaga in every way, Christina studied the “Bad Romance” video and decided she could throw in the skankiness of her “Dirty” video and mix and match some “Express Yourself” references and score a win.

Unfortunately, this video reeked of desperation and served an all-you-can-buffet of skankiness when people were really looking for appetizer portions.

Whoever Christina Aguilera was that night, she should never be her again.

8. Nicki Minaj & David Guetta — “Turn Me On”

This is the song that made Nicki wake up and smell her dance-pop future.

After she broke into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with this song from David Guetta, the seeds for “Starships” and the second half of Pink Friday: Roman’s Revenge were planted.

The smart thing to do with this song visually would’ve been to go the choreography route. Instead, David Guetta and Nicki put together something resembling a Mattel factory with a creepy mad scientist thrown in the mix.

The machines turn against their boss, for no apparent reason really, and no one really looks like they’re having a good time.

What does this have to do with Nicki’s body being ready for lovin’ again???

7. Lady Gaga — “Alejandro”

How do you go through the trouble of biting Ace of Base and Madonna‘s “La Isla Bonita” only to come up with something that Hitler would salute?

Lady Gaga’s done long videos before, but god … this one drags on and on. None of it makes a lick of sense either. Couldn’t Gaga just’ve booked a flight to Mexico or Miami and called it a day?

Stop overdoing it, Gaga.
