#5 — Golden Girlfriend
While we all know the night is about awards, they aren’t all for the movies.
The red carpet has become nearly as popular to watch, if not more popular, than the awards shows themselves. While I’m no fashion expert, I like what I like, and I hate what I don’t.
Though there were some beautiful looks taking to the red, it wasn’t exactly a cornucopia of wow. A few hits, a few more misses, and more than anything a bunch of “oh, well, that was a choice.”
Except one. There was a red carpet moment this year that made my jaw drop, my back straighten, and my finger snap. While wearing gold to the Oscars is big risk, the return on the investment for Stacy Keibler, actress/girlfriend to Best Actor nominee George Clooney, was very high. Just take a look for yourself!
Stacy wore George Clooney as her biggest accessory, while it seemed she’d been his for the longest time. But back to the dress…
It was designed by Marchesa, done up in a gold lamé fabric with a rose-shaped bow that was a total win.
#4 — Pop star pop-out?
Hmm. A huge pop star, on one of the biggest nights on television, with a nipple cameo? We’ve certainly told this story before, haven’t we?
While you may be thinking of Janet, we’re talking about Jennifer Lopez. Though it’s debatable whether or not Lopez’s boob made a gaffe, the blogosphere and web were lit up over the alleged slip-up.
After reviewing the moment a few times, it does appear that there was somethin peeping out of J.Lo’s “Cleave-land.”
As if one Nipplegate on a huge Sunday night wasn’t enough, this may end up being yet another.
This could end up as a developing story, or it could ‘slip’ away. Either way, we’ll keep you ‘abreast’ of the developments. (Sorry, I had to!)
