Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg fell victim to hackers earlier today …. on his own website!

The following message was posted to Zuckberberg’s official Facebook fan page this morning:

Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn’t Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a ‘social business’ the way Nobel Price winner Muhammad Yunus described it? What do you think? #hackercup2011

Facebook has yet to make a statement about the incident, but this definitely raises concerns about user privacy on the website. If the owner can’t keep his account from getting compromised by hackers … how are the users supposed to feel safe?

“Mark Zuckerberg might be wanting to take a close look at his privacy and security settings after this embarrassing breach,” Graham Cluley, a senior technology consultant said.

At press time, the page had been removed with no further details given.
