While filming on the set of the new “Men in Black 3” movie, Will Smith got a special visit from his good friend and business partner Jay-Z. The Hip-Hop titan, who has worked with Smith previously in the broadway production “Fela!” and also manages his daughter Willow Smith’s music career, was seen laughing and joking with the movie star as he filmed scenes in New York City’s Battery Park.

Will Smith recently announced that he is bringing Jay-Z along to help his production company Overbrook Entertainment develop and produce films. It’s also rumored that the pair will also work together on the upcoming revamped version of “Annie,” which will star Willow Smith in the title role.

Beyonce hit the stage at the Palais Nikala Monday (Jun 20) in Nice, France and performed a promotional concert for her highly anticipated upcoming album “4.” Her set list included songs like “Single Ladies,” “Telephone,” “Irreplaceable,” “Baby Boy,” “Halo” and more.

The 29-year-old entertainer also performed a few tracks from her new album, including “Best Thing I Never Had” and the rumored next single “End of Time,” as well as a medley of Destiny’s Child hits and a cover of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Beyonce’s next big concert will go down this coming weekend in the UK at the annual Glastonbury Festival, where one of her performances will be shown via satellite at the 2011 BET Awards Sunday night.

Drake made a surprise appearance last night (Sun. Jun 19) as he and Justin Bieber accepted an award together at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada. The hometown heroes both tied for “Video of the Year by a Canadian” award for Drake’s “Find Your Love” and Justin’s “Somebody to Love (Remix).”

Lady Gaga was the big winner of the night, taking home two awards: one for “International Video of the Year” for “Judas” and the other for the UR FAVE International Video for “Born This Way.” Other winners included Far East Movement and Fefe Dobson. Justin Bieber also took home a UR FAVE award, giving him 2 wins for the evening.

The 2011 MMVAs also featured appearances and/or performances from Selena Gomez (who co-hosted the show alongside actor Colin Farrell), Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Snoop Dogg, Fefe Dobson, Avril Lavigne, Shay Mitchell (from “Pretty Little Liars”), and others.
