Minneapolis police say a man was punched in the jaw by a 13-year-old’s heroic brother after he caught him trying to rape her.
Late Saturday night, police were called to a neighborhood where several civilians had detained a man, later identified as 34-year-old Jayton Deon Simms.
The girl who was attacked told police she was walking in an alley behind her house when a drunk man (Simms) came up to her and tried to strike up a conversation with her, asking what her name was and how old she was.
The victim told police she ignored the man, and as she tried to walk past him, he grabbed her by the arm and began to pull her towards him.

After his recent health scare, the Maybach Music head honcho has already canceled a couple of concerts. Now it’s being reported that he has rescheduled his concert in L.A. this weekend for 2012.
According to TMZ, the promoters behind the show believe Ross needs more time to get better, so they contacted his people, and the two parties have agreed to reschedule the concert to January:
“Pushing [Ross] to do a show that he was not prepared to do was not beneficial to anyone,” the promoters said.
We’re glad Ross’ health is being taken into careful consideration. Hip-Hop wouldn’t be the same without him!

A woman named Teresa Culpepper ended up spending nearly 2 months in Fulton County jail after Atlanta police made a horrible mistake.
Back in August, Culpepper reported to police that her truck had been stolen, and instead of assisting her, police arrested her and took her to the Fulton County Jail where she spent 53 days for an aggravated assault allegedly committed by another woman named Teresa.
Culpepper’s attorney Ashleigh Merchant says her client’s birth date, address and description didn’t even match the Teresa who was wanted.
