Above is the official trailer for the new movie, Righteous Kill, which stars 50 Cent, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. The movie is slated for a September 12th 2008 release!

According to Billboard, fans of Gnarls Barkley will have to rely on the likes of Youtube or another online alternative if they want to see their new video for Run. Popular music video station MTV released a statement saying that they will not be airing the video due to its failing of the Harding Test, guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures. Apparently the video has way too many strobe effects.
“I don’t know exactly what’s going on, but we’re having issues,” said Danger Mouse, one half of Gnarls Barkley. “I think (the video) is cool. It works for me. But I’m not necessarily that easily seasick. We can’t predict how people are going to interpret it.”
Gnarls’ new album The Odd Couple is set to be released on April 8th. A video for the second single, Who’s Gonna Save My Soul, is scheduled to be shot within the next week or so.
And yes, you read it correctly. Danger Mouse was actually quoted! Click Here to check out the video (at your own risk, of course) if you haven’t done so already…

ATHLETE MARION JONES BEGINS SERVING PRISON SENTENCE » Former Olympic gold-medal winner Marion Jones started her 6-month sentence behind bars in a federal prison in Texas on Friday, reports People. Jones arrived a little before noon at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
As previously reported, the athlete will have to perform 800 hours of community service during her 6-month prison sentence. According to People, Jones, who used steroids distributed by the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative – the same lab that supplied steroids to athletes who included New York Yankees star Jason Giambi – is the first professional sports figure to receive prison time. But she probably won’t be the last.

CHEYENNE, Wyoming (CNN) — After losing Democratic contests in the delegate-rich states of Ohio and Texas this week, presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama won the Wyoming Democratic caucus Saturday. Obama led rival Sen. Hillary Clinton by 61 percent to 38 percent, with all of the precincts reporting. The caucus thrust the state, which has only 12 delegates, into the spotlight because the close race between Obama and Clinton means that every delegate counts.
Although Wyoming typically is not a stop for Democrats looking for delegates to clinch the party’s presidential nomination, its numbers could make a difference this year because of the delegate deadlock. With slightly more than 600 delegates left at stake, every remaining contest is crucial to both candidates. The two are separated by fewer than 100 delegates, CNN estimates, with Obama leading Clinton 1,527 to 1,428.
… He even gives MediaTakeOver a quick shout-out! “I’mma just put it on YouTube right now … I don’t really do this … but it’s funny to me!” The young R&Ber says in a jokingly, yet serious manner, “the media always builds you up to get you down [and] I just want to tell all my fans out there that we don’t carry, or conduct, ourselves like that”. Honestly, the best advice I can come up with for Chris, or any celebrity, is to just ignore the rumors. Becos the more you entertain them, and feed into them, you begin to justify them. That’s a no-brainier.
And to the people unaware, MediaTakeOver is obviously a site you shouldn’t be taking seriously. I mean, if that is where you go for reliability and justification, I don’t know what to tell you …
We kinda stole this from Vibe Magazine. You know, where they do the questions. However, there are two differences – we ask an additional question, and the questions they ask, and the ones we ask are completely different! Oh yeah … we spell it like “qwestchuns” lol!

#1: Why did it take to long for Beyonce to get a non-singing role in a movie?
#2: Why does Weezy’s ad for condoms look suspect?
#3: Why are Reggie and Kim playing us with this fake ass relationship?
#4: Speaking of “fake ass relationships,” Chris Brown and Rihanna! Whaddup?
#5: Why didn’t Woody tell Sisqo about his call from the Lord before hitting the radio airwaves? Couldn’t he have at least put him on threeway?

Here is what’s said to be Ashlee Simpson‘s Bittersweet World (Geffen) album cover, accordingly to a resourceful Ashlee Simpson fan-site. The album cover can also be seen placed upon Simpson’s label site. At first, I thought it was fan-made, but I sort of get the concept of the album artwork coinciding with the album’s title. I was just expecting something a little more darker, or raunchy … ?
This week on America’s Best Dance Crew contestants had to imitate, as well as implement their own, dance moves from Michael Jackson‘s Thriller album in honor of the Thriller 25th anniversary edition that is in stores now. Status Quo had ‘Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’, JabbaWockeeZ had ‘P.Y.T.’, Kaba Modern had ‘Thriller’, Fysh n Chicks had ‘Billie Jean’ and BreakSk8 had ‘Beat It’. Everyone danced well and executed this challenge phenomenally. My personal favs were Fysh n Chicks for their well choreographed dance sequence and creativeness and BreakSk8 for their coordination and perseverance. But let’s keep it real now, NO BODY can be like Mike, I often cringed at the judges for making such blaspheme comments such as ‘you gotta do it better than Mike!’
I digress, I guess. But if anything I thought BreakSk8 represented Mike the most, being from Indiana themselves, not to mention they danced on skates! God bless ’em … It was sad to see Fysh n Chicks go, but I suppose it was their time, I hate to admit it, but I strongly agreed with Little Mother here: about how the ‘Love interest’, or lead girl in the pink, was portrayed too masculine for such a feminine role. Over all this week’s episode was exemplary, MJ would be ever so proud, ever so. I’m quite curious how contestants will do on next week’s show, though. Since they’ll be “out of their comfort zone” portraying Broadway, and all. Sounds stellar.

‘I Luv Your Girl’ will be The-Dream‘s third single from his debut album Love/Hate (Def Jam) in stores now, it was produced by Tricky Stewart. An official remix featuring Young Jeezy made it’s go abouts around the Internet recently and to my in box! Woohoo! Although this was not one of my favourite songs from The-Dream’s album Young Jeezy makes up for that.

American Idol star Blake Lewis has confirmed that ‘How Many Words’ would be the next single from A.D.D. (in stores now!) and performed it live on AI recently. I’m really happy over the single choice, although there were so many other good songs from that album, I find ‘How Many Words’ to be very ‘radio-friendly’.
Here is the Think2wice video premiere of ‘I’m Leavin’ from Jesse McCartney‘s new album Departure (Hollywood) in stores May 20th. I’m sure you all remember me posting the downloadable version not too long ago, last month. I love the song, I don’t know about the video; I expected the it to be more of a club scene. Is that too logical?

The rehabilitated Miss Jackson hits up Miss Jones‘ Hot97 morning show recently to talk about her album Disciple (Island), which is in stores now and the number 1 album in the country, Ciara “jacking” her style, strip club lifestyles, marriage, possible similarities with Beyonce [and her father, Mathew] and more! And I have to shout out my guy Showtime from ThaTOTT.com for sending this in to me!

Brooklyn-based rapper Jamal Woolard, better known as “Gravy,” has been tapped to play rap icon Biggie Smalls, in the upcoming biopic Notorious, which is set for a January 2009 release, reports All Hip Hop.
According to Variety, Notorious will also star Angela Bassett as Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Sean “Diddy†Combs and Anthony Mackie, who will play Tupac Shakur. Notorious, which is being executive produced by Combs, will chronicle B.I.G’s career, his rise to the top of the charts and ultimately his death. The Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, was shot to death on March 9, 1997, after he, Sean “Diddy “ Combs and an entourage attended a party at the Petersen Automotive Museum. The murders of B.I.G. or his “rival†Tupac Shakur, who was gunned down six months earlier in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996, have never been solved.
Some believe that the rappers were shot as part of a feud between East and West Coast rappers, while others, including B.I.G.’s mother, claim B.I.G. was gunned down with the help of off-duty police officers, on the orders of Death Row Records’ CEO, Marion “Suge†Knight. Notorious is based on a screenplay by Hip-Hop scribes Cheo Hodari Coker and Reggie Rock Bythewood. In April of 2006, Gravy caused a minor controversy when he was shot outside of New York’s Hot 97, just moments before conducting a radio interview. Hot 97 responded by banning the rapper’s records from being played the following month, due to several other unrelated violent alteractions between rappers at the station. Notorious is being directed by George Tillman Jr and is due in theaters on January 16.
The movie is set to start filming on March 24 in New York, just two weeks after the anniversary of B.I.G., who was gunned down on March 9, 1997 in Los Angeles. Click Here to see casting predictions from So Furious!

Kelly Rowland put those rumors of her having breast implants to rest by confirming their validity in an upcoming issue of People Magazine.
Rowland, who sang “Bootylicious” with Beyonce in the group Destiny’s Child, tells People magazine in its March 17 issue that she had plastic surgery last October to bring her “from an A-cup to a B-cup.” As for the one-cup upgrade, Rowland says: “I didn’t want to have double Ds and be a little bitty size 2 — that would look nuts!” The 27-year-old singer went under the knife after a long decision-making process.
“I was sick of not fitting into my tops,” she says. “There was this one really hot House of Dereon top — I just wanted to fill that out!” Rowland says that top — designed by Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles — complements her new curves: “I put it on and I looked so good! I’m so happy. I feel complete.” Rowland, who has released two solo albums, says she hesitated to discuss the surgery.
“It is a decision I made for myself. I like it, and that’s all that counts. For young people: Think about it before you just jump off and do something (you may regret later),” she says.
Can she get through one interview without making references to Beyonce? Anyhow, I’m loving the new chest though, Kelly. You didn’t go too outrageous. They look “natural.”
Media Take Out, the increasingly popular gossip site notorious for posting rumors and falsely fabricated stories had people talking about Jermaine Dupri going blind after undergoing laser eye surgery. Of course the rapper/producer responded via his Youtube channel stating that he “ain’t blind, you stupid mother fuckers!” I knew this rumor was bogus to begin with. As I stated before, I had the procedure done myself, and I don’t do anything that drastic without conducting the proper research. Out of the millions of surgeries that have been performed over the past 10 years (the first surgery was done in 1998), there have been ZERO cases of recipients of the treatment going blind. Don’t believe me? Make friends with Google. The information’s out there…
R&B group Dru Hill was in the middle of announcing their comeback on Baltimore’s 92Q Jams radio station when group member Woody made his own announcement. Needless to say, Sisqo, the lead singer of the group, didn’t take too kindly of him making such an announcement without discussing it with the group beforehand. Completely understandable. But the little tantrum Sisqo threw was pretty funny, not to mention that whack-ass fight between the remaining guys. What a lasting impression to make on your hometown fans! But, was it all staged? From one standpoint it looks fake, but from the other, it looks real. Maybe Sisqo’s that good of an actor, and if that’s the case, he doesn’t need to be singing in a group. Peep the video for yourselves above!
Here’s the official video for the Jermaine Dupri/Ne-Yo produced track, Rock With U, lifted off of Janet Jackson‘s brand new album, Discipline. The video premiered last night on BET’s Access Granted. Congratulations to Janet for snagging the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 on her first week of release!

Gnarls Barkley returns with their sophomore album The Odd Couple (Atlantic), make sure you all pick up your copy April 8th, 2008! I’ve been turned onto Gnarls Barkley’s randomness (good random, though) when I first heard their single ‘Crazy’. Now, I’m extremely random, so soon I knew Gnarls Barkley would ultimately become one of my favourite bands ever. I still bump St. Elsewhere from time to time even now, just like I’ll be with this album soon 🙂
[ THANKS JONNY ALI’S BLOG ! ]
My current favourite tunes from this album, so far, are ‘Would-Be Killer’, ‘Open Book’, ‘Whatever’, ‘Blind Mary’, ‘Neighbors’ and ‘A Little Better’. If you liked St. Elsewhere you’ll love this album, it’s a little more darker, though; lots of soul and a little bit of funk. I love it long time! You can’t go wrong with GB.

Usher‘s new song ‘Love In This Club’ featuring Young Jeezy, from his forthcoming album Here I Stand (Jive)[ 1 ], set to release this June 2008, has soared from number 51 on iTunes all the way to number 1![ 2 ] Now keep in mind that no video has been released as of yet, no television/radio appearances made, no promotion at all. Yeah … I think somebody owes somebody an a-polo-gy! With that being said congratulations Usher, tehe!
