MTV’s Hottest MCs In The Game List

MTV’s Hottest MCs In The Game aired last night and the list and debate went on hard. They listed many of the best rappers in the game as of now, although I don’t necesarily like how they situated these numbers. They put T.I. at number 10! They obviously don’t keep up with the rap game that much, or else they’d know he still has an album coming out this year.

Check out the full list after the cut.

★ [SPOTTED] Usher IV and Usher V … and Tameka Too

Big Usher and little Usher were spotted leaving big Usher’s trailer at a private recording studio in New York. Usher taped an MTV promo at the undisclosed location in preparation for the release of his new album, Here I Stand, which hits stores next Tuesday. Tameka was there too…

When are we gonna get to see the kid’s face?

[VIDEO PREMIERE] The Game F/ Keyshia Cole – “Pain”

Here’s the video for Pain, The Game‘s new single featuring R&B songstress Keyshia Cole. Word on the sidewalk is that home boy is trying to recruit the dude that knocked Suge Knight senseless to his record label.

“He’s the Knockout Kid. We was looking for him, we found him, and trying to sign him. (Suge’s) not a boxer. It’s not like he’s Muhammad Ali, and he’s been in the game and somebody finally beats you. Suge, back in the day, he had it locked in Los Angeles. But now, your time comes and goes, and you have to respect the new breed, and now that’s me.

I got L.A. locked, and 10 years from now there will be a new dude. Ten years from now, when I’m 40, there’s gonna be a new kid and I gotta respect that dude. Hopefully, the Knockout Kid’s little brother don’t hit me or something … or step to me. I don’t want no problems with the Knockout Kid.”

T.I. and Tiny Welcome New Baby

Rapper T.I. and longtime girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle welcomed their second son together after midnight Friday morning. The little tike’s name is Major Harris, and he weighed in at 5 pounds, 15 ounces. Major is the 5th child for Clifford, and the 2nd wtih Tameka. The two already have a 3-year-old together, King Harris.

So uhm, they thought it’d be “cute” to name their kid after a military rank, huh. Not surprising since the first one’s name is “King.” So what if they decide to procreate again, and it turns out to be a boy? Are they gonna name it Lieutenant? Or maybe Colonel?

Game 7: Boston Celtics Vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Celtics Win Game 7!

The Boston Celtics won at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the last game of the series (4-3) between both teams. The Celtics won by 5 (97-92). Paul Pierce totaled 41 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Kevin Garnett scored 13 points and 13 rebounds. Rajon Rondo scored 8 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. I must say I am disappointed about the Cavs loss. I really wanted to see LeBron progress within the playoffs. Garnett said at the end of Game 7:

“Today it was basically get the ball to Paul Pierce and get the hell out of the way,”

♫ Beyoncé – “Kick Him Out” // “New Shoes” // “Should Have”

BEYONCE

Beyoncé has three leaked tracks that just hit the web and it’s new material. Beyoncé released a statement earlier this year about her not releasing new music but this is proof that some type of recording is taking place. All of these tracks is great. They all are very radio friendly and I would love to see a new album from Bee by the end of this year. Check out the following links below to listen.

Usher Performs On Saturday Night Live

Usher performed two tracks from his upcoming album Here I Stand (LaFace). He performed his hit single, “Love In This Club” featuring Young Jeezy, who appeared for the performance. Usher also performed one of the leaked tracks that has recently hit the web, “This Ain’t Sex”. Based on the he few tracks I’ve heard, this should be another big album for Usher. Don’t forget “Here I Stand” in stores May 27th.

Peep another performance after the cut.

JD’s Night Out On Janet’s 42nd Birthday

THROWBACK: Janet Jackson – “That’s The Way Love Goes” (Live)

I felt it can only be right since Janet turned 42 yesterday (May 16). This is a performance from Janet Jackson‘s Velvet Rope Tour in 1998 in New York City. I went to this concert in Chicago! L.A. WINS GAME 6!

Kobe Bryant pushed it to the limit last night as usual!!! The Los Angeles Lakers won the last game of the series between the Utah Jazz (4-2) by 3 (108-105). Pau Gasol totaled 17 points and 13 rebounds. Lamar Odom had 13 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Kobe stated at the final game’s end:

[YOU SENT IT IN] Ne-Yo on Showtime at The Apollo

Ne-Yo Go-Go (his stage name in the video) like many other stars, got his start by appearing on Showtime at the Apollo. Even though Ne-Yo’s group was basically booed throughout their entire performance, it was cool to see Ne-Yo doing something other than Micheal Jackson inspired dance moves. Former American Idol contestant Corey Clark (Snow) was also spotted.

Shout-Out to Ashley for sending this one in!

Game 6: San Antonio Spurs Vs. New Orleans Hornets

Spurs Take Game 6

The San Antonio Spurs win Game 6 at home against the New Orleans Hornets. CP3 didn’t come through like I wish he did but he had a pretty good game overall. The Spurs did take the win by 11 (99-80). The series is still tied though (3-3). Tim Duncan scored 20 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Manu Ginobili scored 25 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Tony Parker had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Duncan stated how he felt about the stakes of these series played between the Hornets’:
