The Marathon Continues … literally.

Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Clothing store has reported a massive increase in sales since the rapper’s shooting death in March.

Earlier this week, the South Central Los Angeles-based business announced that it had officially closed its doors for the foreseeable future, however, the online shop has remained up and running and business is booming.

According to XXL, Hussle’s fans and supporters have been buying merchandise in droves via the Marathon Clothing’s website, which has brought in more than $10 million. Hats, hoodies and t-shirts are the store’s biggest sellers, sources close to Nip’s team said.

The tragic irony behind all of this is that Hussle was shot and killed in front of The Marathon on March 31st, which is likely the reason behind the brick and mortar business’ temporary (if not permanent) closing.

“Thank you to everyone who’s placed an order with us these last couple of weeks. We appreciate the unprecedented outpour of support. It means a lot to our team and family,” a message from the store read on Instagram on Monday (May 6).

“We are working around the clock to fulfill every order placed. We ask for your patience as we get everything fulfilled and shipped out to you. Additionally, our flagship store is closed right now, but our online store is open 24/7 to serve you and is the only authorized retailer of our brand. Once again, thank you for your support.”
