Unfortunately, Twitter beef seems to be becoming the norm for celebs. Coming out of nowhere, Keke Palmer and “Bad Girl” Mehgan James are the latest two to exchange a few shady words on the social media platform.

The random Twitter war all started after Palmer tweeted she was binge watching season 9 of Bad Girls Club. Though James might now be better known for appearing on Basketball Wives LA, she got her reality show start on BGC back in 2012.

A fan asked Palmer which Bad Girl was her favorite; shocker, it wasn’t James.

James, who admittedly only joined BGC to fight, never holds her tongue and responded to the tweet, calling Palmer a “hater.”

Well, that clapback sparked Palmer to indirectly post a series of tweets about James.

The former Bad Girl then released several brutal clapbacks. She even claimed that “one of the several athletes” Palmer was sleeping with has “an incurable STD.” James later deleted those tweets, but not before they were screencapped by the internet.

The current Scream Queens star took the Twitter beef to the next level by posting a video. Again, she never addressed James by name but she called out a “World Star classic trying to go off on me.”

“But the gag is, I like them overweight, bipolar, insecure, and insufferable. Holla at me, bitch!”

Palmer’s part of the Twitter beef ends with the video. However, James wasn’t going to let that slide either.

So, yeah. That all happened. James also explained why she decided to go in on Palmer in the first place. And she actually had a semi-valid point.

It was strange for Palmer to single out two people she didn’t like, when the question was who her favorite bad girl of the season.

In any case, the two definitely took it too far and the situation was never that deep. Unfortunately, celebs are starting to feel the need to respond and defend any little bit of criticism they encounter on social media.
